She thought, then smirked at him. Dots grabbed his chin with her hand, and caressed him cheek with her thumb. Then she leaned in, and kissed him sweetly on the lips.
"How was that?" She asked smiling.

Dewey paused for a moment,taken aback , before answering "ya shoah are good at dat unexpected t'ing " then he leaned in and kissed her on the lips "I ain't so bad at it eithah huh?" he asked as he pulled away.

"Well, t'ank ya. Ya ain't so bad either. " She smiled. As Dots was sitting on the ground, she leaned into Dewey's chest and closed her eyes. She loved being with him.

Dots opened her eyes, and burst out laughing. "Haha, Oh yeah, I kind of forgot there. " She stood up and sold 3 papers to a boy who felt bad for her.
"Dewey, I got," She counted her papes, "sixteen papes left. How many do you got?"

"eighteen" he replied " But in my defense I been a bit distracted" right after he said this a sympathetic young couple nearby bought two of his papers. "I take dat back. I got sixteen"

"Haha, very funny." Her words drooled with sarcasm. She saw a pack of boys who were looking at her, there were about 6 of them.
Dots walked up to them and said, "Excuse me, may one of ya like ta buy a pape?" All of them bought one, and one very generous boy took 3. "Wow, thank ya so much!" She ran back over to Dewey.
"Haha! Now I have...7 left! " She knew this would get Dewey aggravated, so she ran a little far away from him and smirked.

Dots frowned, then she smirked and yelled a headline. A group of people came up to her and bought some papers, and just like that, she was done.
She slowly turned back to Dewey. "Ya wan't me ta help ya sell da rest of yoah papes?" Dots didn't want him mad since she finished first, and if he was, she would help.

Dewey paused for a moment, weighing his pride with his desire to finish selling so they could go swimming, before he finally gave in "Shoah... go ahead" he said handing over the papers reluctantly.

Dots smiled at him and said, "MAYOR IN JAIL FOR ASSAULTING DAUGHTER!" A huge pack of people came up to her to buy the paper.
Her eyes went wide when they all left, and she turned around to Dewey with wide eyes. "Hey, Dewey..ya wanna sell da last two papes?" She asked still shocked.
