She snorted and then laughed out loud, "Good god no, but it sure makes an interesting stage persona doesn't it? People will flock to see Sophia Debois on stage, but Naomi Anderson? I don't think so.." When she heard his name she smirked. "No last name or you just don't want to be...."

"I dont know I think I like miss Anderson better... and my last name is Italian something or other. Ends with an O." He realy didnt let his last name get out less people start tracking him down with warrents or god forbid complain about his work and make him actually do something.

"Ah! Your one of those rotten Italian's screwing up the work for good Americans.." she nodded, that smirk on her face as she took a drag from her smoke. She liked the compliment though-- he was good looking.

"Good Americans? If God told the mayor he was going to destroy the city of New York unless he could find ten good Americans the mayor would start packing his bags." Paulie replied chuckling. He wasnt entirely Italian his last name just was.

She grinned at him and tilted her chin, she had found herself right beside him on the step, grinning like one of those girls that knew so much and was telling very little. "That's because you can't find ten American's in New York..."

Her brow listed and she smiled at him, "And here I thought you were talking about me here? I'm not just any girl.." she took another drag. She looked like she didn't give a damn what anyone thought.

"Im starting to notice that." He replied. His cigarette had turned to ash and he had yet to really notice it. He was staring at her. What was a girl like her doing talking to him. It was almost too good to be true

She smirked and drew a long drag before she snubbed it out on the step and flicked it into the sidewalk, she cared little if she hit anyone. Naomi had a thought process most women out side of suffragettes didn't understand.
I am woman, hear more roar.
It was a basic concept, she was somewhat of a feminist in her way but it was an ideal born out of pure survival instinct. No man was ever going to take care of Naomi Anderson, she had to take care of herself. Her lips curved as she crossed her arms and leaned them on her knees. "What else do you notice?"

He felt like most other man. He was man everyone was entitled to what he had to say. He just took it to an extreme that others did not care to. He also didnt give a hoot about anyone which is why half the tenants had doors that squeeked their hinges crying out for oil. He did things to keep his job and even then it took alot of pestering to get anything done. He smirked as she smiled though. He was liking that grin of hers. "Well I noticed the previous owner of your apartment filed a leeky pipe. The sink still giving you trouble?"

She rolled her eyes heaven ward, the rue on her eyes making them look darker than they would have if they weren't painted like that. "Yes, the blasted thing keeps leaking. I've had a hand at it myself, my neighbor said the handyman was lazy as sin and worth less then his wages.." She knew EXACTLY who this man was, but she kept right on smiling because Naomi like Paulie. And if he could dish it, he could take it.

"Oh yeah the guy is a no good Italian taking the jobs from hard working Americans... Lazy, worthless but God is he one handsome devil." He replied. He had a feeling she already knew who he was. The people there complained about him enough that word got around. Always on that blasted stoop of his smoking and taunting they generally said.

She chuckled and shook her head, wishing she still had a smoke for something to do with her hands, "You know something, Paulie? You are a handsome devil but you seem to be right on the other two accounts too. I'd eventually not have to listen to that pipe leak all night..."
