Misery stood up and her Brooklyn fascade faded, walking over she put a hand on his shoulder and for the first time attempted to comforted the poor boy, "Hey...calm down...listen to me Risk...yous need to calm down." She ran a hand through his hair shakily and began to use soothing sounds to settle him down. Truthfully this was all new to her, she had never delt with this situation before so she just did what her mother taught her so many years ago. She gently ran her hands through his hair and began to tell him to realx some more. She continued to do so praying it would calm down the boy.

Risk's mind slowly calms down, and he begins to think clearly again.
How did she know that this calms me? This is weird.... i'm tired all of a sudden.... must.... stay.... awake.......must stay..........................
Risk collapses into Misery's lap unconscious.

Misery sighed and shook her head, "Why do the weird ones always find me?" she asked herself staring at the unconcious boy. Rolling her eyes she lifted him off her lap and walked over to the water once more. "I mean it ain't like I has a sign on my head sayin' 'Freaks Welcome' er sumthin'." she muttered to herself while scooping up some water. 'Alright, it's gettin' to be late and I got bettah things to do then babysit." she threw the water on his face and smirked, 'Wakey, Wakey sleepyhead, I wants to know yous at least breathin afore I walk away." still she wondered what he wanted with her, that thought still nipped at the back of her mind as she leaned against the stone foundation, her hat still covering her left eye.

Risk runs to the river and pull a small flask from his pocket and fills it with water, he'd run out of alcohol a few hours before.

Risk runs over to Misery and dumps the water on her head and then..... for some strange reason... He hugs her, he turns, and he runs in the other direction grinning widely.

Misery stared in awe as he started screaming and yelling at her. Her mouth slacked open and it took her a little too late to realize what he was doing. "DON'T EVE-!" sudddenly she felt the cool rush of water spill over her and soak through her clothes. Her eyes widened in shock as she stood there, letting the water continue to drip down her pants, she pulled off her hat and wringed it out. Staring at the boy she thought she had seen everything but when he hugged her spontaneously that was the strangest thing that had ever happened to Misery. She stood there glaring for a few seconds and finally growled and ran after him,
"HEY! Get back here! I outta soak ya!' she shouted chasing right behind him. "I JUS' STOLE DIS HAT DIS MORNIN'!" and as fast at her legs could carry her she rushed after him, determined to get him back.

Upon hearing Misery yelling Risk put on another burst of speed, his legs taking him as far as he could go......... Well at least until a wall stopped him.
What the- T-that wall just jumped in front of me. I swear!
Little does anyone know that he's well beyond drunk. By the end of the events that had passed he was completely unaware that there was a wall infront of him... by the time he noticed it was too late.......
Why..... I............... autta.............
Just then Risk passes out unconcious

Being unable to slow down as it was, Misery had very little time to break before the brick wall to the bridge came into view. 'Shit!" she swore and dug her heels into the ground, this didn't help in the slightest. Instead she ran directly into the wall and fell on to her back. Groaning in pain she attempted to roll over but quickly felt a dizzy spell coming on. The world began to twist and turn and no matter how hard the tried to fight it off it only made things worse. Laying her head back down she never noticed the droplet of blood fall from the corner of her eye on to the grass.
Impacting the wall had hurt more than she planned, it caused a slight cut above her eyebrow. Wincing she felt her eyes closing and turned to him, "I'm gunna get you fer dis." she whispered softly before finally ended up in solid darkness.

(NEW DAY)
Rick made his way under the bridge. He was in a good mood today witch was rare, and nothing was gonna take that away from him. He sat down on the cold wet ground, taking a swig out of the bottle wrapped in a brown paper bag. Turning around, facing the stone wall behind him, he pulled out a new charcoal pencil and began to doodle on the wall, though he wasn't much of a artist.

Glancing around Fight slowly made her way underneath the bridge, a cigarette dangling from the side of her mouth. She frowned when she heard someone moving about, she hadn't thought many other people came down here and she certainly wasn't expecting someone to be there now. When her eyes landed on the kid drawing she did a slight double take. He wasn't all that bad, hell he was better than her. She crossed her arms as she approached not sure of this kid. "Quite the artist aren't ya?"

Rick turned around sharply, he sure hadn't expected anyone to be here. "Oh umm, yeah, I was just, uh, yeah" He said just as he dropped his charcoal in a puddle of water. "Shit" He swore as he fished it out. He took another drink out of his bottle. "You smoke?" He asked the girl lighting a cigarette. He took a long drag and blew a perfect smoke ring.

With a laugh Fighter just lifted her cigarette as if in a silent toast. Taking a drag of her cigarette she glanced at the bag he was drinking out of. "Getting an early start, huh?"

Rick wasn't quiet sure what she had meant. "An early start?" he questioned waving out his match, and then letting it fall in the dirty puddle beside him. He looked around just begining to notice how dirty and grungy it was down there, he rose to a squat, as to no get his new pants dirty, normally, he wouldn't care, but after all, today wasn't like most days.

Fighter lifts an eyebrow incredulously at him and nods her head towards the bag. "You gonna try to tell me that ain't liquir you got there?" With a laugh, she continues, "Don't worry I ain't interested in drinking any of that."

[NEW DAY]
In an attempt to escape the unbearable heat and the thick layer of dust that hung stagnantly in the air, Mabel, with a good many unsold papers tucked beneath her arms, took refuge in the damp air beneath the bridge.
Hopping about in a less than graceful manner, Mabel tugged at the laces of her shoes, "Off- off- get off!" Squeak. Oof. Fwack. Now flat on her back, Mabel glared accusingly at the underside of the bridge.
Propping herself up on her elbows, Mabel managed to kick off the traitorous shoes.
Well, at least it was cooler.
