Mooch nodded, "okay well den nice ta meetcha firecracker. My name's Mooch." She didnt much care where he was from but still it was nice to know where she had friends at.
"Dere's a cat round here somewhere, dont know if he'll show but 'is name's spooky." she said as she took another bite, chewed, and swallowed. As she was swallowing the piece of apple a black cat jumped out from the shadows and stretched next to her.
"What da.." mooch said when he first jumped out and then she laughed, "and dats why i calls him spooky" she smiled. She pulled something wrapped in a napkin out from her pocket and opened it up to reveal 1/4 of a hot dog but up and without the bun. She set it down on the ground and watched as spooky analyzed it and then once he decided that he wasnt gonna be picky, begin to eat it.
Once she saw he was eating she looked back at fire, "So why ya called firecracker? Got a thing for fire?" she smiled at the obvious reason but still she figured it was polite to ask rather than assume.

"Nice ta meetcha as well Mooch." When he saw the cat jump out, he gasped. Fire was embarressed, so he coughed like nothing happened." Yeah, I can see why ya call him dat. He is kind of spooky." He said with a crackly voice.
But when she asked about his name, he grinned. "Haha, funny. Not so much as fire, but when I was youngah, I always had firecrackers in me pockets, and I took my twin sistah out to show her. " Then he turned to her, with that grin still on his face. "Why are ya called Mooch?"

Mooch would have laughed at Firecrackers gasp if she hadnt been spooked herself. It helped that she was expecting him to pop out at random times but then again, it was still random and sometimes he did scare her. "fire crackers eh? dose tings are great." she said grinning. "I set some off in a market once," She said laughing at the memory. "Scared the people silly, dey were runnin and hidin... thought dere was guns or sometin." She smiled innocently when he asked why she was called Mooch and replied, "oh that... well... dats a funny story". She put her hand into her pocket that had been empty most of the day and started counting the coins in her hand. " so is 31 cents normal for newsie earnins or is dat just you?" she asked holding her hand and the money out to him.

"Yeah, I know. I used to set them off near the bulls feet and got in trouble all the time. My sistah got mad though, I couldn't have cared any moah. " Fire raised his eyesbrows when she said that it was a funny story. But then when she pulled his earnings out of her pocket, his mouth dropped open and his chocolate brown eyes opened widely. "How-what- jeez, yoah good at dat. And 'bout 31 cents, I didn't sell all of me papes."

Mooch grinned as his mouth dropped open and his eyes widened. She laughed as his words got confused. "Told ya it was a funny story" she said her eyes bright. She smirked when he said that the 31 cents was only cause he hadnt sold all of his papers, "right right, shoah." Spooky finished eating and got up to stretch. After he'd stretched he walked over to firecracker and sniffed the air a few inches away from him.

"I didn't! The headline sucked taday, ya I know, headline's don't sell papes, newsies sell papes. But whatevah." He looked at the cat that sniffed him and he smiled. Fire really loved cats, but his twin sister was allergic. And he wasn't.
"So, do ya got any siblings?" He paused. "If ya don't mind meh askin'."

Mooch shook her head, "nope. least not dat i'd remember. When i left i didn 'ave any but i wouldnt know any from aftah dat." Spooky gently layed his paw on fires leg for a second and then moved it away. He sat down and looked up at fire expectantly. Mooch laughed, "He wants attention" she rolled her eyes. "How bout you? any siblins? she asked.

"Ah, sorry. " When the cat looked back up at Fire, Fire laughed. He pet the cat's head. "Yeah, I got's me lil sistah, Dragon. We'se twins. I'm 15 minutes oldah though."

Mooch shrugged, "why ya saying sorry, nothin to be sorry for." She laughed as he talked about his sister, " a whole fifteen minutes olda huh?" Spooky purred softly as he pet him on the head. "He likes ya" she pointed out.

"i dunno it was just funny, da way you said you was fifteen minutes oldah" she said shrugging. She reached out and pet spooky also because she knew that if she didnt he could eventually come over and demand it.

If moneys hard ta make honestly, den its nevah foah ceotain dat i ken be in da same place for dat long." She smiled, "Jest cause i ken outrun da bulls don't mean dey wont recognize me some uddah day." which is why i probably shouldnt'a gave myself away earlier just for the thrill of the chase she thought but as she remembered the rush of adrenaline she decided that it was totally worth it. "i mean, i do gots spooky ta keep me company but ya know." she shrugged, "not quite da same. Someday though." she smiled for a moment before it turned quickly to a smirk, "and you?"

When fire said dots name she thought for a minute and then said "dont think dat i met her yet." and she rolled her eyes when he asked if she'd seen her. "Well i nevah met her so how's i supposed ta know if i seen her?" she smirked. "but, i mighta seen her and just not 'ave known dat she is who she is, what's she look like?"
