*New Day*
Aqua was taking a stroll around Manhattan since she had nothing to do in Queens. She was getting kind of hungry and thirsty since the price of the papers got raised, and they aren't getting enough money. Since she only had a few cents, she decided to go into Tibby's and order only a coffee to save up some for food when she is really hungry.
As Aqua walked into Tibby's, she saw a few Manhattaners in the tables, and a few family's. Looking around for an empty table, she saw a small table only fit for two people, she decided that someone could come in and talk to her if she wanted, her not wanting to many people coming. When Aqua sat down, a waiter came by, and she ordered her coffee.

David opened the door, inhaling the familiar smoky scent of Tibby's. He hadn't been here for a while, but it still felt as comfortable as an old shirt.
Unfortunately, he didn't have time to reminisce; he was here on business. Catching sight of a girl nursing a coffee at a small table, he strolled over, trying to appear nonchalant. She was dressed in the garb David associated with the newsies of Queens, which made her exactly what he was looking for. David was on a self-imposed quest to find out what other newsies thought of this price hike. He needed to make sure the majority would support drastic action.
"Hello," he said to the girl, removing his hat and holding it in his hands. "I was wondering if I might join you. I was hoping to discuss the reason increase of the World's prices."

"Hello, I was wondering if I might join you. I was hoping to discuss the reason increase of the World's prices."
When a boy around Aqua's age walked up to her, she looked up from sipping her coffee and saw that he was a boy in the strike the year before. His name, she remembered, was David Jacobs, also known as the Walking Mouth. David had curly brown hair and bright blue eyes.
"Hi, yeah, you can join me. I was just drinking some coffee as you can see, " She smiled at him, " What did you want to discuss about the prices?" Aqua took another sip of her coffee and gestured for him to sit down with her hand on the seat across from her.

David lowered himself into the chair, folding his hands in front of him on the table.
"I'm sorry, miss," he said. "But I don't believe I know your name." He had met a lot of newsies during his time on the job, but it was sometimes hard to keep all the names and faces straight.
What did you want to discuss about the prices?"
"Mostly, we want to find out how you and your friends and family are handling it," answered David. "Are you able support yourself and your dependents? Are you able to afford lodgings? Food?" Realizing he was letting his mouth get ahead of him, David coughed into his fist and said, "Yes, well, that's about it."

"I'm sorry, miss, But I don't believe I know your name."
Aqua looked back up at him and smiled, "Well, as you can see, I am a newsie. My name is Aqua, I'm from Queens." As she held out her hand, she didn't spit in it because she doesn't know if David does the spit shake.
"Mostly, we want to find out how you and your friends and family are handling it, Are you able support yourself and your dependents? Are you able to afford lodgings? Food? Yes, well, that's about it."
David was talking a lot, she knew he would, since his nickname was the walking mouth. Aqua giggled a little bit, not trying to embarrass him, but thinking it was funny that he didn't like the nickname. " Well, " She started, " sometimes we can afford the lodgings, but only if we don't spend all of our money on food. " She pointed to her coffee, "That is why I only got a coffee instead of food to eat so I can have a place to sleep." Her mind wandered to people stealing food at times because they were starving. "Also, if some of the younger children are able to pay for lodgings, they can't pay for food because they don't sell as many papers as everyone else does, and they usually have to steal the food."
Taking another sip of her coffee, she looked out the window. As children were walking around, looking for a place they could afford, she sighed feeling very bad for the most youngest children. "My friends that are around my age can deal with the price of the papers for a while, but once they don't have any money left, they can't do it anymore, and they try and find another job." Aqua remembered the six people family in Queens that can't afford a lot. Her best friend, Dipper, is the oldest, and she has to take care of them. "My friend Dipper, who is also in Queens, has five little siblings. She can't pay for all of them, especially since most of them don't have money."

David sighed. He was afraid it would be something like this. Newsies forced to choose between a roof over their heads and food in their bellies. And after a while the weakest would be driven out of the job completely. Some might find other work, but most would resort to thievery, then wind up in jail. And it was all the fault of that penny-pinching bastard Pulitzer.
My friend Dipper, who is also in Queens, has five little siblings. She can't pay for all of them, especially since most of them don't have money."
David hated to discuss business in the face of such suffering, but he had no choice. "Would you support a strike?" he asked brusquely. "Do you think the other newsies in Queens would?" The newsies had to be united if they were going to win. If they couldn't count on each other, then they might as well give up. Not that he could blame Aqua if she laughed in his face. He was asking her to give up who-knew-how-much money for only a promise and a dream.

"Would you support a strike? Do you think the other newsies in Queens would?"
Aqua looked at the desperateness in his eyes, and considered striking. "Well, in my opinion, yes I would support a strike. I don't know about other Queens newsies would though, they all have a mind of their own and I can't approve for them." She heard a yell outside, but just saw a kid running away from a bull.
"I can talk to Prince about it if you want, or I could bring you to her I guess." She burnt her tongue taking another sip of her coffee and said, "Dammit!" Realizing what she said, she looked at David and blushed, "Sorry, I burnt my tongue..."

"Well, in my opinion, yes I would support a strike. I don't know about other Queens newsies would though, they all have a mind of their own and I can't approve for them."
David nodded. He understood that, which was exactly the problem. It was madness to assume that every newsie in New York would - or could - support a strike. Was it his right to decide what was best for them? Could he really sacrifice the weakest kids to help the majority? Could he afford not to?
"I can talk to Prince about it if you want, or I could bring you to her I guess. Dammit! Sorry, I burnt my tongue...”
David waved the apology away. “You could do that?” he asked, leaning forward eagerly. “Bring me to Prince, I mean?” With Jack lying low and Brooklyn a veritable warzone, Dodger and Prince seemed to be the only leaders David could easily get a hold of. So, he couldn’t risk turning down the chance. If anyone knew the moods of the Queens newsies, it would be Prince. “I’ll pay for your coffee in return,” David said to Aqua quickly, digging into his pocket for some money. “You would be doing me a huge favor.”

When David leaned closer to her, she laughed at how eager he sounded. "I might be able to, I just need to talk to her. We could go look around and find her." Aqua had already finished the rest of her coffee by the time she finished talking, and was suprised that he would pay for her.
"Oh, I'm not sure, I can pay for it, you don't have to owe me anything." She smiled sweetly hoping he wouldn't protest.

"I might be able to, I just need to talk to her. We could go look around and find her."
“That would be fantastic!” David cried, jumping to his feet. “I mean, thanks, thanks a lot.” David ran a hand self-consciously through his hair. He wouldn’t convince anyone to join him if he acted like a lunatic.
"Oh, I'm not sure, I can pay for it, you don't have to owe me anything."
“No, really,” said David, holding out the money. “I owe you. I don’t think I could find Prince on my own.” He smiled, hoping she would accept it. He might soon be responsible for putting who-knew-how-many newsies out of the job; the least he could do was pay for a coffee. “Then lead the way,” he said, perfectly willing to admit that he didn’t know the first thing about Queens.

“That would be fantastic! I mean, thanks, thanks a lot.”
Aqua started laughing histerically. "It's my pleasure. And, don't worry, I would be happy as well." She smiled broadly at him and straightned out her shirt she was wearing.
“No, really, I owe you. I don’t think I could find Prince on my own. Then lead the way. ”
"Oh, fine. Well, we have to find Prince first, I think she might be in Queens. So we have to walk a long way." Aqua let him pay for her coffee, and she stood up to walk to the door.

Dice opened the door to Tibby's with her free hand, he other hand was holding Cupid's hand. Dice looked around Tibby's and noticed that it was completely fell except for one small table. Dice looked up at Cupid and smiled.
Dice walked over to the empty table and sat down across from Cupid, still holding his hand across the table.

Sitting down at the table with Dice, he smiled back down at her. This doesn't feel like she's my goil, it feels like she's my little sister, he thought to himself as he looked into her eyes.
The waiter came over and he ordered his soup and a water. "What are ya gunna have Dice? And don't worry, it's on me."

"What are ya gunna have Dice? And don't worry, it's on me."
As cupid looked into Dice's eyes Dice kept looking away, it really annoyed Dice when people look into her eyes for a very long time. "No... i will pay," Dice took the wallet out of her pocket that she stole back in the bronx, and put in on the table so that Cupid could see it. Dice blinked a couple of times before speaking, she knew that he was probably gonna make her give it back to the person or do something else with it besides spending it on food. Dice ordered her rost beef sandwhich and a water.
