He chuckled. "Well thank you," he said nodding. "But really it's alright," he said sincerely. He relaxed again and looked back to the book. "Hey... what cha readin'?" he asked.

Avalanche flipped back to the front of the book. "Uhhh... Wizard of Oz... it's... like brand new" he said examining the binding. "Interesting so far... a lady...like... falls into some bad weather, and ends up in... ooze?" He shook his head. "There must be a better way to pronounce that," he laughed."

KittyKat started to laugh with him."You mean Oz right?" she asked she knew she read the book before. Not in along time though so she might be wrong. "She ends up in a tornado and ends up at Oz land of little munchins." said Kitty as she stopped laughing.

"Sure, that seems right," he said nodding and chuckling slightly. "Oz... not ooze..." he laughed. "Of course." He rubbed his hands together. "Wish it was a little warmer in here huh?" he asked as he put his hands in his pockets.

KittyKat thought it was very warm in the library but maybe she was just weird. "Here my hands are warm." said KittyKat and took Avalanche's hands in hers.

He chuckled. "Heh thanks... yeah they are, but I don't wanna... ya know inconvenience ya," though it felt better... his hands were like ice... the man was always cold... except in summer.

He heard voices in the next row. Thanking the old lady for no help at all, Dr. House moved on, taking the photo from her.
"Excuse me," Walter said, giving a brief, semi-friendly smile to the young people. It seemed he had caught the two from getting a little romantic, but he seemed not to care, at all. "But, I was wondering, if you've seen this girl around. Anywhere." He added.
"Her name's Lara Rippy. She's my niece." He paused for a moment, looking to each of them. The photo showed a girl with dark curls, a nice dress and a brown mutt of dog at her feet. "She's a bit older now. She ran away... almost four days ago."

Kittykat looked up and saw a old man. "Um sorry but I'se aven't but if ya go ta da non-fiction section of da library you'll find Ms. Johnson she always keeps an eye on da yonge people around 'ere." said KittyKat and then turned back to Avalanche. "It's notta problem you'se hands are cold and I'se just warmin dem up for you'se." said KittyKat

Avalanche gave a smile to Kitty. "Thanks... I wanna get a closer look at the picture though," he said. "Be back." He stood up and walked over to it. He looked closely. "Would she go by any othah names?" he asked hopefully. He knew a lotta the newsies in the city. maybe he could help the man out."

Walter shook his head, "I don't.. believe so... Is she did, I suppose one might be Marjorie..." He held the photo out nearer so the young man could have a better look. "Also, she... may have a black eye. There was an accident before she left..."

Ms. Johnson was hearing alot of noise from the Fiction section. She went into the row of books and saw three people. "KittyKat what did you do now?" asked Ms. Johnson knowing KittyKat she did something that she wasn't suppose to do.

Avalanche had ta think for a moment. "Black eye?" he said suddenly. "...I might know her acctually... but uh... I mean, 'fore I tell ya anythin', what cha lookin' for her for?" he asked with a slight shrug as though it was really of no consequence. Avalanche knew better than to point random people in the direction of someone, espeically if someone didn't wanna be found. And he didn't know if she did or not. He didn't even know if he was right.
