Quarantine Beds: Eleanore, Blink, Cards

Blink grumbled at sat up. "...well I can't say that I can't eat by myself...but I can't say that I do...so best help me, sweets..." He winked at her with his good eye. "Since Cahads there its a big goil."

[pepper]

"Quite the charmer, ain't ya?" Pepper smirked and shook her head, "Now, let's get some of this soup into ya before it gets cold."

She set the bowl in her lap. Grasping the spoon she scooped a spoonful of the soup. Carefully she raised the spoon up to Blink's mouth, her free hand underneath the spoon in case any dripped down, "Careful, ya don't want ta burn your tongue."

Cards paused in eating her soup to stick her tongue out at Blink. "Eat youah soup an' shut yah trap." she snickered, amusement dancing in her eyes. She shook her head as Pepper actually started feeding him. "I take it back, Peppah. You'd make a real good noise."

[pepper]

Pepper arched an eyebrow, still holding out the spoon for Blink, "Ya know, contrary ta popular belief, I can be nice," she smirked, "But, I can still spill that soup on ya as easily feed it to ya." The latter sounding as if she took Cards' remark as an insult, but still her reply was said in a joking fashion.

Blink chuckled. "Yous just jealous, Cards.." He took a sip of the soup. "Mmm...good." He smirked up at her. "Better coming from a pretty lass..."

[pepper]

"Glad ya think so, because if ya didn't like it.. I jist might have had ta soak ya," Pepper grinned, taking another spoonful of the soup and bringing it up to his mouth, "Besides, it'd be a shame ta hurt one of the few decent guys in New York."

[cards]

Cards rolled her eyes, trying not to spill her soup as she coughed. "Oh, yeah. I'se so jealous." she managed as soon as she stopped suffocating. She glanced sideways at the pair. "I thin yah gots a fan, Peppah."

Blink smirked, coughing up blood into a towel before taking the next spoonful. He grinned up at Pepper. "Now whos says Is decent?" He looked over at Cards, winking.

[pepper]

"Well if you're not, you shoir do put on a good act," Pepper smirked, setting the spoon down in the bowl. She bit her lip as Blink coughed up into the towel, "We can take a break. Ya know, so you can maybe breathe. I usually find that helpful in the living process."

Blink smirked. "Nono...let me finnish eatin'...udderwise is gonna never eat enuf...just waist away..." He half chuckled, half coughed. "Sides..arentcha ruinin' da Brooklyn name by bein' nice?"

[pepper]

Pepper arched an eyebrow, picking up the spoon again, "Well, I figure I'd give ya a break since you're sick and all. But if you'd rather me be a wise ass, far be it from me to object." She brought the spoonful of soup up to Blink, "Even so, Brooklyn or not, I wouldn't jist let ya waist away."

As unlike her as it was, Pepper was almost enjoying being here with them. She wouldn't ever admit it, but nonetheless it was true, and something about her eyes revealed this feeling.

Cards shook her head at the two them as she set her almost empty bowl of soup down. She couldn't eat anymore. She sighed and coughed into her cloth. When she was albe to stop, she sat back with a groan. "I hate dis."

[pepper]

"I'd trade places with ya but.." Pepper pretended as if she were in a serious thought and then grinned, "Actually, no I wouldn't, but all the same, it's the thought that counts."

She turned her head toward Cards, carefully holding the spoon in place in front of Blink, "Ya want me ta get you a water or anythin'?"

[cards]

Cards cleared her throat. "I'se stahtin' tah think that Blink had the right idea." she narrowed her eyes at Pepper. "You suah you won' put an end to me sufferin'?" She was only joking... kind of.

[pepper]

"So, that's a no to the water?" Pepper smirked, "Sorry, but like ya said.. wouldn't look too good ta have murder on my resume."

She turned her head back to Blink before her lack of coordination caused her to drop the spoonful of soup on him, "You'll be outta heah in no time."
