"Of course! I'd love ta take ya, if ya'd love ta go," he said with a smile to her. "Really, just as soon as spring comes, I'll be makin' sure ta watch out for the show comin' through. Then I'll take ya, my treat," he promised her.

She chuckled, and nodded enthusiastically, "Mais Oui! I want to go, it would be so exciting, cher." Alanna grinned at him, just beamed. No one really made her as excited about things as Mush did, or made her smile as much. "Maybe... they wont seem so.. frightening.. if I see them like that.." She sighed, "I wish spring would come.. the snow is lovely, mon ami... but it manages to be dreary when you have to be out.. in it.."

Mush nodded. "I know what you mean. Spring in New York, it's so much nicer than winter, so much warmer too. All the parks are green with leaves, and everyone gets out warm weather clothes and puts away their jackets, and seelin's a lot easier then too," he said. "You'll like Spring, a whole lot more than winter anyway, I almost promise it."

She smiled a bit and nodded, "I always loved Spring, mon cher. It's the season of life.. back home the whole bayou comes to life in the spring.. like it's been sleeping all winter long.. and then suddenly it wants to wake up and be heard.."

"Yeah! New Yorks kinda like that!" he said. "Except... it's... real real loud, so ya can hear it real good, and it's mostly people," he said chuckling nervously.

She giggled, "I bet that's when the real characters come outside to play.."

[mush]

He nodded. "Yeah! The nice ones durrin' the day even," he said with a slight smile. "Just don't let any pretty boy who thinks he's amazin' turn ya head. You'll be spinnin'," he said with a slight smirk, implying that a lot of boys THOUGHT they were amazing.

She chuckled. "Well there is only one boy that has my head turned and as far as I can see I'm not dizzy yet.." Which meant for the most part meant she was only interested in one by at present and she was with him.

Mush smiled to her, a little flattered by her words. "Well gee, thanks," he said a little cockily, as a joke. Still, he couldn't get the smile off his face. Happy to know that she liked him, and that he liked her too.

She chuckled, not able to shake the smile on her face. He was something else, and she liked it. She was pretty sure she always would.

He tried to shake himself out of the smile, but failed. He lifted the hot chocolate to his lips and took a sip. "So how's your tea? Ya warmin' up?" he asked, his smile still present, but gentler now.

She had been sipping her tea off and on, she nodded and then smiled at him. "Oui, it's very good actually.. " She watched her drink a moment. She'd always loved tea, she needed to stop by and see Mrs. Hendry again. She was a nice lady, and having tea with her was nice.

He studied her for a moment. "Aparently, must be fun to watch too," he teased her. "What cha thinkin' about?" he asked in a good natured curoius manner.

She chuckled a bit, "I was thinking I need to go have tea with Mrs. Hendry.. Peem's mum.." She nodded, she liked the term Mum.. if she ever saw hers again she might use it to see how it worked. "But.. now I'm thinking... we should do something.. spontaneous.." She looked at her scarf and smiled a bit. "My brother Benji and I used to dress up and.. well.. cause a little mischief... you up for it?" Alanna despite her sweet manner, she had a playful streak a mile wide and Benji used to use it to cause trouble. It wasn't that she wanted to cause trouble, but she wanted to make believe for awhile. She was a great actress, pretending to be someone else.. that was a dream of hers.

Mush chuckled a little. "Cause mischeif huh?" he said with a soft smile. "I personally think that sounds like a great idea!" Mush wasn't a trouble maker himself, but he was always all for having fun!
