She glanced up at him and dropped her hands from the dress quickly as if she had been doing something wrong. "No..."she said. She felt a little embarressed though she didnt know why. "I'm just....looking." she said

She nodded and smiled to him turning back to the dresses once he walked away. She sighed looking at it again for a moment before walking back over to the hair combs and picking up the butterfly ones and walked over to the counter. "How much for these?" she asked him.

((NEW DAY))
Skittery walked in looking as foul mooded as usual. His hat was pulled low to avoid recognition because, well sometimes he just hated talking to people. He looked around the store a bit counting change in his hand. Fact was he was in need of a shit, there were only so many holes and patch jobs one could withstand.

Skittery looked up somewhat surprised by being called 'sir' while he looked so dingy. "What?" he asked dumbly before relizing he already knew what he was there for. "How much is one first?" He said with some sass "Its gotta be worth skippin' dinner an' lunch.."

Jackle chuckled. "About 1 to 3 dollars but seein' as you are a newsie Ise can give ya a discount." He was still waiting for him to tell him what size he was. He liked the newsies. "What color would ya like cause that also depends on how much the shirt is. and the style as well."

Skittery eyed him a minute then sighed throwing one arm up. "Fine...I don't really got a choice.." He motioned to the shoulder which was a mess of sloppy patch jobs, obviously done by himself. "Whatevers cheapest...an' nothin' pink I already get enough 'bout that..." He grumbled. The union suit sleeves were showing as his shirt sleeves were rolled up halfway. "Size medium I thinks.." ((yeah i have No idea how means shirts are sized...))
After a moment of silence and raised an eyebrow. "Discount fer newsies? Thats a first...why?"

Jackle smiled pulling a white shirt off the rack and handing it to him. "Because i'm a newsie too." Was his reply to the question. "Try it on see how you like." He pointed Skitts over to a small dressing room.

"oh.." Skittery took the shirt and smiled - wasn't quiet expecting the shop hand to be a newsie as well. He took the shirt and disappeared for a moment to try it on, it fit him well enough and he walked back to Jackle, still wearing the merchandise. "Ain't got much of a choice so I'll take it.." He shrugged, not quite wanting to part with his money for clothing when he could be buying a hot meal, "Skittery, by the way, one of Kelly's boys."
