Prince loved this place. She opened up the door and smiled to the man behind the counter. "Heya Stan," she said with a sly smile across her face. "And how are you dis fine day?"
All she got for a responce was a grunt of hello. Prince and Stan often spoke, when she needed to buy some food for her kids and headlines were bad. "What do ya want?"
"We dunno yet, give us a minute," she said good naturedly as she turned back to Innocence. "Take a look at da case dere," she said pointing to a case that held every kind of sweet foot imaginable.

Innocence eyes fell on a piece of fudge. She pointed to it and looked up at Prince. "that." She said. It looked good she didn't even look at anything else really.

Prince smiled a little. "Alright," she said nodding. "We'll take a piece of fudge, and two chocolate chip cookies," she said with a smile.
"Okay," Stan said. He got the order ready and Prince paid for it. She'd eat one of the cookeis herself, but she figured if the kid wanted something else, or didn't like it, the cookies were allways a good fall back plan.
"Thank ya sir," she said being strangely polite. She pulled out the piece of fudge and handed it to Innocence. "Here ya go kiddo."

Innocence laughed and took the fudge from Prince. She took a small bite at first then a bigger one. She smiled her eyes sparkling and seemingly dancing. She was enjoying the fudge.

Well the kid was havin' a good time, and that was all Prince was really hoping for. "Havin' fun kid?" she asked with a smile. "Here have a seat, and finish that," she said. She grabed some napkins to make clean up easier too.

Innocence sat down sitting beary down next to her chair. fudge ran down her face and she looked well like a mess. She giggled as she finished the last of it nodding to Prince's comment about her having fun.

Prince laughed a little. "C'mere," she said as she wiped the messy chocolate off of the girl's face and hands. "There ya have it," she said with a smile. Well, if the kid wasn't happy before she sure should be now. After pizza and fudge, what more could a kid want? "What cha think? Was it any good?"

Innocence nodded her head enthusastically. "Very good." She giggled and brought beary back up to her lap. "He likes you." Indicating the bear. "and so do i."

Prince smiled at the two of them. "Well good, I'm glad," she said. "I cain't do dis every day though. I ain't rich," she said. "Sometimes I may not be around, but if ya dunno where to go ya can always go inta my room, whether I'm dere or not. Just stay outta stuff, and stay outta trouble outside da lodin' house, okay?" she smiled at the young girl. "Ya know what... I like youse two too."

Innocence smiled and nodded to what Prince had said. She'd do her best to stay out of trouble. She was glad to have a place to run to. She walked up to Prince and hugged her. She knew that Prince wasn't rich to begin with and she knew that what they did today couldn't be done everyday. She knew what money meant to people because of her mother always buying only the things they need at that moment in time. The locket she wore was even more special because of that reason.

Prince was taken off gaurd a little by the hug, but she smiled and hugged her back. "Ya cute kid... real cute," she said with a slight smile to her. "Ya welcome at Queens for as long as ya wanna keep it ya home, okay?" she said with a soft smile to the young girl.

Innocence nodded her head and sat back down. holding beary and rocking side to side a little bit wondering what else was out in this big world andwould she ever understand it all.

Prince collected what they needed, threw away he napkins and everything else that she needed to get rid of. When everything was set up she came back for Innocence. "Ready to head home kid?" she asked.

Innoncence looked up at her. She had followed her with her eyes as she had cleaned up. She nodded yes that she was ready to go home and she stood up taking Prince's hand and moving Beary to her other hand.
