He looked at her blankely for a moment and then followed after her, "now wait here one darn minute"he frowned, "I never said you were a conquest nor was I thinking that."He said grabbing her amr again making her stop. "Im not laughing at you ont he inside and im not gloating to myself about kissingyou without you hitting me'He said, "You know more about me then anyone whos ever known me, even those whove known me for a long time. Dont you think that if it was a conquest I wouldnt have put so much effort into it"He shook his head. "Darlin I just wanted to get to know you, arlight...I cant help it when I kiss you I dont meant to .. I mean.. I cant help it, i just doo and then "he shook his head. "nevermind youll beleive wahtyou want, Im a liar anyway."he said stepping back from her and looking away.

She dropped her face into her hands and tried to breath, get her barrings. It was hard, she took a breath and looked up at him. Her walls were shattered, there were no masks, nothing. "Don't you get it.. I'm afraid to trust you.. if I do.. then what happens when you conveniently decided that I'm not worth the trouble.. what happens to me then?"

He frowned a bit. "So take a risk"he said. "Thats what lifes for. You cant play it safe forever, youll be lonely. Sides people learn from experience. Just cuase you have on bad one dont mean you gotta throw all fo them out the window. So .. just...take a leap. Try it..."he said putting his hands i nhis pockets and looking up at her.

Little did he know they were in front of her tenement building. She lifted her head and narrowed her eyes. "You're not the first man to say that kind of thing to me.. even make those kinds of promises...." and with that, she vanished into the building. The only sound was the pound of her shoes on the stairs.

Blake cursed under his breath and shook his head. He always seemed to be saying the wrong things around her. He frowned when she ran in. He didnt think this was finished and he wasnt so sure if hed see her again if it was up to her, so he turned and ran after her> "Shiloh wait!"he caleld as he hurried after her.

Fame entered the diner, looking at Chivalry over her shoulder. "How about dat booth?" She asked, pointing to the back booth. She stopped walking for a moment to let him walk in from on her and indicate where he wanted to go-- it didn't really matter to her, she just preferred booths to tables.
