She was getting used to him picking her up, she still squeaked though and curled into his chest when he sat down. She listened to what he said and smiled a bit, "Yeah, she laughed when that card came up for me." she nuzzled his shoulder and sighed, "You haven't lied to me, so i've got no choice but the believe you. Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like such a weakling.."

He tilted her head up, kissing her tenderly. "Shush. You aren't acting weak. You're just trying to deal with change in the way you know how..its not weak." He laughed softly. "Love, you're never weak."

She gave him a real smile when he kissed her. She was calmer now, "I try not to be," she whispered and kissed him again. "And, to top it off, I really do love you, Nic. Not afraid of that, and I probably should be."

Sneaks laughed a bit. "Now...why would you be scared of loving me?" He smirked. "I'm not that horrid." He understood though. Love could be a scary, dangerous thing. But it was always worth it. "And I'm right there with you..." He ran a hand through her hair, smiling. "Feeling better?"

She nodded and gave him an almost award winning smile, something crossed her mind and she bit her lip as she thought about it, aw hell, guess there's no time like the present.
"Umm, has anyone mentioned the Halloween.. Masquerade thing.. going on?" she looked at him, her eyes almost hidden by her hair. So it was maybe the worse time to mentiont it but, she really wanted to go. She blew her hair out of her face and gave him an almost nervous grin.

She furrowed her brow as she tried to remember what that note said. "Well, it's supposed to be this huge party, dressing up and all, over at Caprice hall. At least, that's what I remember from the note, I was a bit miffed when I scanned it." She liked it when he played with her hair, no one else had ever done that and not been punched for it.

She laughed a bit, "You are to much some days, I almost thought you were going to tell me to look somewhere else," Her eye sparkled as she spoke, she'd never felt so comfortable and at ease. Especially after a nasty bought of temper. "I want to go with you, I wouldn't have mentioned it otherwise."
Though that meant she'd have to wear a dress, she blinked a bit. She wasn't even sure HOW to wear one.

She chuckled and kissed his cheek lightly, her hands went to his neck. "That, sounds like a brilliant idea to me." She shook her head and then laughed. "Guess I have to go raid the costume department, though, I have no idea how to wear one of those dresses. The corstette things..." she shook her head and laughed a bit. "I havent worn a dress since I was eight years old."

Sneaks laughed and kissed her. "I'm sure you'll look beautiful...and I'll have to be slugging boys left and right." He smirked. "...you look stunning now...you'll be drop dead then.."
He kissed her forhead again and stood up, setting her down on her feet. "I wish I could go with you."

She blushed a bit, she knew she was cute but, oh well. She smiled and kissed his cheek. "Dont' worry about it, I'll just go and have a melt down when i try to figure out how it works." Truth be told she didn't know WHAT girl's wore. She'd seen the dresses but, it was all like speaking Latin in Chinatown. "Just, be careful. With Spot out of the picture, it's not all that safe right now, ya know?"

"And you'll be fine...Aria is a very sweet lady." He kissed her soundly. "I'll see you soon. I love you Miranda." He kissed her forhead once more and started to walk away.

She gave him a half smile, uh huh, he was about as carefull as a bull in a china shop. But she loved him anyway.
"Don't get killed, or maimed, that's all I ask," he started to walk away and she whistled at hiim. "Hey!.. I love you too, Nic. See you soon." She gave him a wave and headed off for Queens. For some reason, if she could avoid seeing, Alley, she may not kill her.
