"It nothin'," she said straighting her spine. "Just a little cough that will be gone soon. Probably just a cold," she smirked up at him, "Betteh stay far away or ya might get sick to. Come on are we goin'?" She raised a brow waiting for him to lead the way.

"Now wait a minute," she said coming to a halt and putting her hands on her hips, "I'm pretty sure that we've had this conversation. You are the one thats gonna chose where we go." She tried to pout a little but a smirk broke through the pout.

She glared at him for a moment before laughing, "Ya know I'm gonna win this one and dats a promise." Her laughing settling into a smirk. Tilting her head up she was about so say something else when she quickly turned away and started coughing. She covered her mouth with her hand. When the coughing had stopped she turned back towards Rylet with a rueful smile. She did not notice the blood covering her hand, shrugging pretending that she hadn't cough so much it hurt her whole body, "I hope this cold doesn't last to long."

Rylet grinned and was about to say somethign when she turned away and coughed, he frowned. "Kate.."he sighed, "Your not looking well...'His frown deepend when his eye caught some red staining her pale hand. 'Kate!"He grabbed herhand lifting it up. "Kate I aint never seen a cold do this.'He said showing it to her.

She looked at her hand and her face paled visible. She sagged against him not thinking that what she had was contagious or anything, just shocked at what she was seeing. "I..'m sure its nothin'," she said, before continuing to mumble, "nothin' at all." She continued to stare at her hand, she looked like a lost child not knowing what to do.

"I'll be fine I promise," she said not looking at him. She was to sure that she'd be completely fine, but it couldn't be nothing life threating, right? "Besides where am I gonna be able to afford ta get checked out even if I wanted to?" She asked looking up at him questioningly.

"Whats there not to like?" she asked, getting defensive because she was scared, "If ya don't like it den ya..." She broke off as another cough wracked through her body. Both her hands covered her mouth and more blood covered her hands. The cough was shorter than some of the other times but by the time it was over she felt like sinking to the ground. She leaned against one of the walls they were standing next to, "Well maybe if you can find someone, but I doubt it. I guess we'd better go back to the lodging house at least."

He nodded. "maybe... we can tell prince, she might know where to go"he said frowning deeper he moved over to her and took her arm puttin ghis othe rarm around her waist. "Come on Kate.."he said his voice soothing now, 'Lets head back home"

"Ya don't have ta take me back if you don't want to," she said allowing him to lead her, not sure if she'd be able to support her own weight. "Don't want you to end your day like this," she said trying to give an easy grin.
