HE frowned when he saw her happyness dwindle before hiss eyes. He sighed and nodded "yeah...there will be a a few minutes here..'He said as he looked at her, he put a hand on her arm. "Daz.. wont you tell me whats wrong?"

"Wrong?" She asked shifting nervously, "Why would anything be wrong?" She didn't look him in the eye, but instead turned her head towards the tracks and slowly sat down. She didn't want to tell him that she was afraid of horses, but wished she wasn't that was to contradictory and seemed silly to her.

He sighed and shook his head a bit, she wasnt going to tell him. "arlight.."He said, "well when you trust me enough to talk to me, Im here.'he said turning his attentin back the race.

Damn pride, it was getting the best of her. She looked back over the tracks and watched everything going on down below. The horses walking around after the race being lead back to their stalls. The people around her talking about the last few races. Some with disappointment tinting their voices and others with excitement. She turned towards him again and swallowed. "Can we go down to the horse stalls?" She asked anxious.

He tilted his head confused. "You....want to?"He asked, she had been pretty against it earlier. "are you...sure?"he asked not wanting her to do anything sh edidnt want to do.

She looked down at the track and watched the horses and took a deep breath. Saying with as much confidence as she could she said, "Yes, I want to." She chewed on the side of her mouth, her eyes a little bit afraid, but she was determined to go down there. "I want to see the horses," her voice broke a bit on the word horses, "up close."

he studied her a moment and then nodded. 'alright."He said standing up and taking her hand. "Lets go then.'he said offering her a smile. He wasnt sure what was going on in her head, though he wished he did.

"Now," she squeaked. She cleared her throat and said rationally, "I thought there was another race coming up." She smiled a little trying to hide her fear a little bit, but wasn't having much success she was sure. Even though she said this she allowed him to lead her down to the stalls.

She bumped into him. She looked up at him a little embarrassed that she'd ran into him and realized how silly she was acting. He'd be there and he knew about horses. "No lets go down dere now," she said with a smile.

He smiled softly as she bumped into him an dnodded. "alright'he said touching her cheek lightly and then dropped his hand turnind and heading down to the stalls.

She followed him towards the stalls. She paused outside the door, before taking a deep breath and following him in. She looked around eyes wide with wonder. She'd never been in a stable, however crazy that sounds. She started walking down the length of the stable and a nose popped out from one of the stalls and she quickly back into the door of another. Something pushed at her shoulder and she turned around to find herself staring it to big beady eyes. She almost screamed but it came out as more of a whine as she quickly back away.

Rylet chuckled a bit and walked up behind her putting his hands on her shoulders. "its ok'He said rubbing them. 'They wont hurt you.. hold your handout for them to sniff."He said as he held his hand out, the horse sniffed it and he slowly started to move it towrds its noze and started to pet it. "See like this."

She shook her head mutely, but had more courage now that his hand rested on her shoulder. She scooted forward a bit but left her hand down at her side, trying to keep as much space between her and the horse. "III...don't think I can," she stuttered out brokenly.

He smiled softly. "Sure you can"He said. "here..'He took her hand in his and slowly lifted it to the horse. THe horse sniffed at her hand and started nuzzling into her hand. "He likes you.."He smiled. "Now open your hand."He said nudgint it with his fingers as he started to lift it towards the horses coat.
