Moira smiled and laughed softly, and implusively, reached over and hugged him. "Thank you...for everything, Ryan."

Slightly surprised, he hugged her back tightly. "You're welcome." He said simply, and meant it. "Anytime."

Moira just enjoyed this feeling. She laughed, breathing in his scent. He smelled good--of must, newspaper, and something of his own. "And thanks for wanting to take me to the dance..."

"Oh, I should be thanking you for that one." He winked, even thought she really couldn't see him. "If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have a pretty lady on my arm...and probably wouldn't even go."

Moira pushed back from him a bit, looking him in the eye. "Keep saying it...someday I might believe it..." She smiled softly.

"I'll make sure to do that then." He said seriously, the blue glittering. He would keep his word too, there was no doubt of that. Anywhere or at anytime.

Moira blinked. "I..." She blushed. She hadn't ever had her hand kissed. She pulled it back a bit and nodded, standing.
"...Be careful getting back." She knew that was a tupid thing to say. It was...Blink. He could handle himself. "And thanks again, Ryan. I'm glad I get to go with you." Her smile was bright and genuine.

Blink grinned, "I will." Sure, it was nice to be worried about every once and a while, even though he had made sure he was able to take care of himself - and others around him as well - it was still nice.
"You're welcome, Moira...And so am I." He gave her a two-fingered wave and jumped off the porch.

***New Day***
Spade walked up to the Bronx's lodging house finally having the courage to attempt to meet new people on her own. But she just looked at the door for the longest time. She couldn't bring herself to climb up the steps and knock on the door, much less enter the lodging house. Her hands were shaking and her palms were damp, but she felt something bumped into her leg. Looking down she saw Devil. He whinnied, "Alright boy, if this is where you want to live then," she took a deep breath, "Lets go." She slowly walked up the steps. She brought her hand up to the door to knock, but she attention was caught by a sign. There were two and she read them both, but only one keep her attention. The Raconteur. She wondered if she would have to talk to alot of people, but could she get the courage to actually go there? She looked down at Devil, "What do ya think boy? Should we go see these Recouneur's or should I attempt to go into the Bronx's lodging house?"

Irish walked up behind this girl and sighed, Gin close at her heels. Irish walked around the girl, and to the door. She turned the nob, and looked back, "You commin' in?" She asked. Gin barked at the other dog and spun around like a puppy... and he would have played the puppy part well, if he weren't 2 feet tall. Irish looked at him, "Oh, quiet dog... I've had enough barking for one day." She said with a sigh that formed in to a smile. With her other hand she patted his head.

Spade looked at the girl with surprise, she'd hoped she wouldn't run into anyone in case she had chickened out about coming into the lodging house, but it looked like her choice was made. She wasn't going to look like a coward in front of anyone, even if the girl didn't realize that she didn't belong. Noticing the dog she smiled. Devil stay sat down while the dog raced around, but she nodded to him and he joined in sniffing the other dog. "I guess I'm coming in," she said as she looked back at the girl.
