Brigmal put his hands up in defence, "Sorry..." He leaned forwards and thought for a moment. "Let me get dis straight, da Queen a Queens is Prince." He said with a nod. THe nod was more to himself. "I don't think things can get anymore confusing." He said, a confused smile spread across his face. He looked to Flanna, "So, anything you wanna say ta confuse me even furtha."

Flanna shook her head. "Not really...I am a Queens newsie...but I live in Brooklyn?" She smiled softly. "Not too confusing, I suppose."

Brigmal smiled, "You're right... that's not that confusin'." He said with almost a sigh of relief. "You're pretty..." He was going to add something to the end of that, but once the word pretty came out, he couldn't think of another way to describe her. He looked around a little embarrassed, but he couldn't think of something else to say.

Flanna blushed a bit, her alabaster skin now showing her freckles. "...Well...thank you." She stammered, looking down at her plate. She would never get used to people saying that. "You are quite nice yourself." She added. He was a sweet boy, if a bit nervous, she figured.

Brigmal felt bad making things awkward. He listened to her thanks and her compliment. "Well, thank you." He said, a little quietly, for he was still a little thrown off my his own cmpliment towards her. After sitting for a little, he looked towards Flanna, but he eyes darting off towards something else, feeling, still, awkward. "Well... I don't think things could get anymore awkward at this table." He said, smiling, a slight chuckle escaped his lips. He turned and looked forwards, eyes looking towards Flanna every now and then.

Flanna laughed softly and patted his arm. "It's okay. Remeber...I'm almost a mental patient." She shrugged. "So don't mind my attitude. I'm still getting adjusted to things."

Prince just smiled watching the two talk. This was entertainment. She was enjoying this. She thought she'd start them on a new, less awkward topic. "So, Brigmal, where ya from?" she asked leaning on the table.

Brigmal listened to her question and grimaced at the thought of his family. He finally controlled himself and answered her question. "I's from somewhere between New Jersey and New York." He said. "My dad left my fam'ly when he found out that she was cheatin' on him. It didn't matter all he did was drink anyways. My motha kinda forgot 'bout my fatha when she met anotha man... actually, she even forgot 'bout me... dat's why I left dere and came here." He said. He ignored the thought of his brother and sister. He didn't like his parents, so he could talk about leaving them without much pain... but he siblings were a whole nother story. "Dat's about it. I worked in a lot a factories ta support my fam'ly." He added, just because he had thought about that last minute.
He turned to Flanna, "Well, so far dere's no bad attitude... but if it comes, I'll try not to mind it." He said with a smile. As he smiled, he looked into her eyes and sorta became mesmerized. After a few seconds of just staring at her eyes, he shook his head slightly, and quickly, and looked back to Prince.

Flanna nodded. "...sounds a bit hard." She shrugged. She had been lucky to have parents who had loved her. Under Birgmal's eyes she blushed again, running a hand through her hair as she looked away. "..Well thank you."

Brigmal shrugged, "I survived, and dat's all dat matters... right?" He asked, hoping his view on the world wasn't wrong. He looked at his plate, and saw a slight reflection of himself in it. He strumed the table in thought, then shrugged and looked back up. "It really wasn't all dat bad, thought. They weren't like that all da time... just when I got ta be 10." He said, trying to look on the bright side of his past.

Dazzle walked back to the table bringing out their food and drinks. "Here ya go guys," she said as she passed out the food and drinks. "If ya need anything else just let me know," she said as she walked away.

Flanna said softly to Dazzle. "Thank you." She turned to Prince and Brigmal. "Yes...past is past. ..." She didn't say much else. She knew very well that the past could come to haunt you and hurt you in the present. She looked down at her food, eating it silently, but a bit cheered by the nutty honey goodness of the blaklava.
"Wine anyone?" She popped the cork, getting herself a large glass.

Brigmal nodded a thanks to Dazzle, then turned to Flanna, "Sure, I'll take a bit." He said. He got a nice sized glass and held it for her to pour the wine into it. He looked at her for a second, 'past is past'. He thought about that, he did a lot of thinking. He never went to school, and never really got taught, but he was always thinking. He knew a good deal for a guy who spent his life in the factory. That's how he survived as a young kid working with big machines; he figured things out quickly.

Flanna smiled softly and poured him a full glass. "There you go, Brigmal." She smiled sweetly at him. "A thanks to you being kind to me.."
