Jack was at the Flower cart, buying a dozen roses with some extra money he had. If he could see himself, he would laugh. There he was, without his bandana, buying flowers for a girl, and looking nervous.
Him. Nervous.
Hell apparently was going through one huge cold spell.

Prince had come through Queens, Bronx, and most of Manhattan to get to Harlem. Her hair was up in her hat once again, and her gaurd was up. Manhattan was not her favorite area of New York. She prefered almost anywhere to Manhattan. Manhattan was where her father was from, and it was easier for him to find her. She'd be a bit jumpy, and looking over her shoulder every few secods for a while, until she calmed down. She got into harlem, and near the flower cart keeping both eyes open for the famous cowboy hat, his bandana currently clutched in her left hand.

Jack turned around, ready to walk into Queens with the roses, when the object of his affection appeared in front of him. Nearly dropping the roses, he slipped them behind his back.
Smooth, you are not, Jack...
"...I was coming to Queens, Prince..." He smiled and walked up to her. "...you didn't need to risk it..."

She smiled back to him. "Bit late. I'm already here ain't I? I told ya I'd come an' see youse tomorrah. So... I came!" she said with a shrug and a small smile. She was nervous... she could feel it. "B'sides, it was a nice walk." Why did everything she said seem so wrong, and sound so stupid?

Jack smirked. "Good." He blushed a bit and revealed the roses from behind his back. "Here. I got them for you." He wanted to kiss her, but he wasn't sure how she would feel about him kissing her in her boy form.

She smiled and took the flowers from him with a smile. "Uhhh... thanks," she said. Flowers... those were good right? Right, she remembered her father used to give them to her mother, and roses none the less, it was definatly good. It would take her a while to get used to this whole 'being-a-girl' thing again. She smiled at him wider, "thank you," she said a bit more sincerely, now that she knew it was definatly a good thing. "I didn't get you anything though..." which, in her mind, would have been apropriate.

Jack laughed, running a hand in his hair. "You don't need to..I just...wanted to do something nice. A thank you...for letting me in." He shrugged. "I...do you want to stay here? Or go..somewhere private...out of eyeshot?" He knew she must be worried about her father.

Prince smiled as she glanced to the side. It wasn't until then she realized what Jack had said. "Hmm? Oh, yeah! We... could do that," she said with a shrug. It was an option anyway. And Lord knows she would feel safer off the street of Manhattan. Inside, just about anywhere, she'd feel safer than just sitting on the streets in the open.

Jack nodded. "...we can go to my room." He shrugged. "I don't mean anything nefarious about it, its just the one place I have to call my own in this city. No one would bug us there. You'd be safe for sure." It was true. His small private room he had for himself was his sanctuary from the troubles being a leader brought upon him.
HE smirked. He'd get to see her beautiful hair again.

Prince looked at him for a second, a bit unsure about it but nodded slowly. "Sure, sure, we could do that," she said nodding. She knew Jack wouldn't do anything, or try to, she knew that... but it did make her a bit nervous. Still, it was hard for her not to be nervous with him around, so she shrugged it off as typical.

Jack smiled brightly. "Okay..." He was feeling more confident. "...well on to the lodging house." He took back ways and alleys, making sure to stay out of the common eye.

(double post cause its way easier for me)
Sneaks was on his way to Bronx. Something told him that he needed to be there. Something was wrong--and probably with Ace.
A girl was running in the distance. It was clear she had been running some distance, and was out of breath. Seeing him, however, she stopped and started making a great amount of hand gestures.
"Woah girl...breathe...talk to me." Sneaks watched the prettyish blonde who seemed really distressed.
Murder shook her head and put her hand to her throat, shaking her head. Instead she went into his pocket.
Sneaks jumped back. "Woah girl..." He figured she couldn't talk. He went to catch her hand in his pocket, but it was too late--
She had his cards. Flinging them about, she stopped when she found an Ace card and shoved it in his face, then held her hands together like they were in cuffs.
"....ACE GOT ARRESTED?" He yelled and let out a string of explicatives. He knew it...he just know it.
Murder nodded smartly and motioned that they were coming this way.
Sneaks put a hand on her shoulder. "Okay...come with me. We are getting weapons. No one is taking my brother from me." Murder nodded and they both ran off to the Loding house to suit up.

==NEW DAY== ((doing this weird since i am Pie and Skit just posting on one account for the fun of it..try something new..*shrug*))
Skittery and Pie Eater set up selling by the flower cart. Usually Skittery sold alone but Pie had asked - seeming to be in one of his lonely moods - and he gave in. The two were polar opposites. Skittery quick to irritate or change his disposition though confidant - Pie Eater on the other hand was cheery and friendly and easily manipulated.
"Hey Skit - " Pie Eater glanced at the lanky boy who was casually leaning against the wall smoking a cigarette and lazily waving a newspaper . "I 'ave the feelin' I'm doin' all the sellin' here.."
Skittery didn't rush to answer, finishing his exhale slowly before sassing his bloke of a friend. "If youse countin' then you obviously ain't workin' real hard either..." He sold a paper to an old lady just to prove his point, grinning back at Pie. He knew they'd still split it even, Pie Eater was to nice to fight with a friend about it.
Pie sighed and turned away shaking his head. He again started to put his energy into selling, jumping and hollering trying to make himself painfully obvious to everyone in the crowd.

((NEW DAY))
Lukas was making his way up the island back home after a long day of selling. He was a mediocre seller so it was nice to finally have a pocket full of change. He jingled the change along with a song he was singing under his breath. "Trink, trink, Brüderlein, trink, lass doch die Sorgen zu Haus! Trink, trink, Brüderlein, trink, lass doch die Sorgen zu Haus! " He had a little bit of a bounce to his step as he zig zagged around the crowds.
