"Didn't think so," he said as he turned around and went back to his desk. "So... tell me, what did you do with over 3 hours away?" he asked a sort of tone of amusement in his voice.

He still didn't seem to be high in tolerance just then. "...no, no it's not okay," he said. "We had a deal, we had an agreement... you break the deal, and yo lose some of my trust, you keep breaking deals, and suddenly you're back in the closet with Wes and a knife. You wanna try fighting him? He won't have mercy, I'll tell you that right now."

She winced as he spoke, shaking her head again. "NO", she said, quietly but forcefully. "I don't..."

"Then you keep your promises... and you can bet I'll keep mine," he said with a low growl. That was all he had to say on that subject and he looked down and continued working.

She nodded, not saying anything more and turned to leave the room, assuming he was finished.

He was, so he didn't stop her. But Wes came in the door at that moment as did a few others. "Well well," he said seeing her standing in the door way. "Hey boss! We found her!" he said laughing as he hurried over towards Slingshot and grabbed hold of her wrist.
"Let her go Wes," he said without looking up at the man. "She and I have already spoken on the matter. Thank you for looking for her, but let her go."
Wes's smile had dissappeared as he glared at Slingshot and jerked her once before he released her and headed towards the stairs, the others following behind him.

She growled as Wes grabbed her, pulling away at the same time he released her. "Dun' touch meh.." she muttered.
