Giselle made her way to the betting booth. It had been an especially good night and a kind gentleman had even given her a tip, which was highly unusual for her, being a stage dancer with others. He'd given it to her as she was leaving the hall.
"Who are you going to put your money on?" She asked the girl who was next to her.

Maggie looked over at the other girl for a moment. "Give 'Em Hell gots pretty good odds, me thinks." She put down a couple coins. "Yous?"

"Probably the same." she said, retrieving some of her tip money and setting them on the betting booth table. "I'm Giselle," she said, introducing herself. "I work at Caprice Hall, down in Queens..."

Maggie looked her over. The girl definitely had a dancer's body. "Maggie." She wiped her hands off on her leather skirt before putting her hand out for Giselle to shake. "I work at da Textile Mill in Queens." She smirked. "But Is originally hail from dat big ole place out west--California."
