Carter took the paper from him, looking over the names. He took a seat opposite the couch. "This is good Golly, real good." He looked up from the list to Golly. "Now we can organize something, and take 'em all down simultaneously." Carter had walked by the Queens H.Q. many times, but there was always someone there now. "Thanks for this." Maybe now the law could bring about a healty helping of justice.

Golly smiled briefly, glad to see Carter wanted to move in on them. The smile lasted only a few moments and was replaced with Golly's characteristic sullen expression. "You got any ideas on how or what we'd organize?" He was a doubter, still unconvinced that they could get the support they needed. "I don't 'ave any stings to pull - 'Sides, I'm a rookie most of the force ignores what I got to say..." He leaned back in his seat and looked at Carter expectantly.

Carter thought for a moment. It was going to be tough, because no doubt about it, they had their hands in the Police force. "Well, we definitely don't want Snyder in on it. He's probably helping them out. I think I know a few guys who would be willing to help us out though. It'd be good to get the newsies in on it too." Carter looked back down at the paper, thumbing the edges. He wanted to take on that Nicholas guy all by himself.
"I don't think anyone will consider you a rookie after this, Golly." He gave Golly a small smile. "I'll start rounding up some people, and we'll meet up...two weeks from now. That sound good?"

Golly was elated that Carter had responded the way he did, though his face was still blank. He assumed he'd poopoo the whole thing having more important things to deal with like everyone else. When Carter commended him, a wide smile broke across his face, probably for the first time in weeks.
"Two weeks." He afirmed Carter's plan. "Kelly said that the newsies were plannin' on jus' charging in on these guys" Golly recalled from his conversation with Jack, "He's willin' to work with some of us bulls an' I'm sure he could use some persuasion on the rest of 'em" He got off the couch and started to pull his coat back over his shoulders.

Carter stood as well, extending his hand to shake with Golly's. "I don't think charging in would be the best, but I'll find some time to talk to Kelly. Thanks for dropping by." Golly may have been a rookie cop, but he didn't seem as dumb as the others. " Pick a burrough, other than Queens, and you can head that group." He gave a nod and smile to Golly.

Golly grabbed Carter's hand giving it a stiff shake. He gave some thought to what Burroughs to claim, and because Carter had already taken dibs on Queens he assumed it was connected to his girls napping. Brooklyn was out of the question - the few encounters he had had with Conlon were irritating to say the least. The kid would be intolerable to work with. Kelly said the Manhattan leader had a screw loose, alluding that he might not be as much of a problem. That left Bronx.
Golly shrugged and said, "Guess I'll work on the Bronx." Golly smiled a bit and headed for the door. He looked back and added, "Thanks for takin' me seriously, Carter."

Clarence opened the door for him. "Of course I'd take you seriously. All these kidnappings and thieivings, just get me going. Especially when they kidnap pregnant women. But thanks again for dropping by." Clarence was a lot closer to finishing this than he had been without Golly's help. He really did appreciate it.
