Walk in the door and here you are. A few chairs, and a table for sure. Very similar to the Newsboys Lodging house, just darker, and older.

Nicholas lounged in a chair, smoking one of his clove cigarettes. This was all going so well. Flanna was being taken care of, the others were handling their burroughs....now he was going to take care of the last piece.
But the man better not be late. Nicholas despised lateness.

Snyder appeared at the front door knocking and opening it almost all at once. He'd gotten a message, and there was big money involved for him. He was interested to see just what this 'big money' was. "Hello?" he called into the rather large place.

Nicholas stood up, putting his cigarrette out. Snyder was on time--but just.
"Welcome Snyder...to my humble headquarters. I trust you got the message?" He gestured to a seat, pouring the man a scotch.

Snyder walked forward and nodded taking the scotch from him. "Yes, I did. And from what so far I've liked what I've heard. What is this preposition you have for me Mr. Goodman?" he asked definatly interested.

Nicholas sat down and smirked a bit.
Money talks...oh it always does
"Well...you see, we need more pickpockets and workers." He poured himself his own scotch, drinking it a bit, his dark eyes never leaving Snyder. Nicholas was charming to women, but usually a bit unsettling to men.
"You have too many children in the Refuge." He smiled softly. "...we are willing to pay you for the 'transfer' of their custody to us."

"Transfer?" he asked. "And... when you say pay me a transfer, exactly where are they being transfered to?" he wanted to be sure he had a stable location, and a plan if something where to go wrong in all of this. He covered his bases, most of the time. He took another sip of the scotch and looked back at him. Though... he had a feeling he'd be saying yes. He didn't want trouble with this man.

Nicholas shrugged. "...its truely none of your concern once we have payed the transfer, no?" His eyes flashed. "...they will not be simply let loose, I assure you. They will pay off their debts to us before we do that."
He sipped on his scotch. "...we would keep them much longer than you might--or until you let them escape." He raised an eyebrow. "...did you ever find out how they escaped last week?"

Snyder glared. "No... no bars broken, nothing missing, except for the two of them. And the gaurds hadn't said anything." Snyder gazed back at this man. He was intimidating... and he knew he'd lose in a fight... he wasn't going to take him on.

He smirked. "...your guards may be thinking with the wrong head, Snyder. You should check on that." He lit another cigarette, signaling that he was just about done.
"...we'll give you $5 for each kid...shake?" He put out his hand, making it clear it wasn't really a question.

Snyder looked from Nicholas's hand to his face. There was no option here, it was agree, and if you didn't... you were in trouble. He set down the now empty glass and shook his hand. "Agreed," he said nodding. $5 a kid was pretty good in his mind. Worked well for him.

Nicholas shook it firmly before standing up. "...We'll be in touch. There are...others. They will make themselves known if they need kids." He didn't give anything away in his face. "And I hope you understand our need for secrecy. Things could get messy if your superiors knew...of course."

"Of course," he said with a small smirk. "Of course. I'll be in touch with you. I'm sure you know where you can find me if you need me. Thank you for your time, and for your liquor, hope to hear from you soon," he said slowly standing.

Nicholas nodded. "..Good. I believe you know the way out." He gestured, not moving from his place. "and you'll hear from me soon." Very Soon...

Snyder nodded and walked towards the door, "I'll be expecting it," he said nodding. In the mean time he'd have to start figuring out a way to explain where all these kids go. Well... a simple change and a form should cover it. Besides, it'll be worth the five dollars.
