She looked at him. "Avalanche... She's pregnant..." she told him, rolling her eyes slightly. She loved him, but his 'looking on the brightside' ness was driving her crackers at the moment, she didn't want to think about her future self, she just wanted her friend to get better, and STAY better.

Alley stired then fell still once again. She was having a dream and one she really didn't want to have. She finally fought it away and had some peaceful sleep.

Well... he had missed that part! He toned down the good outlook a bit. "Well... that changes it a bit." He didn't know what to do about it... he didn't even know where to begin. "Suppose we ought to just... let her sleep?" he asked standing. He didn't want to wake her up now that she was asleep. "She's welcome to stay as long as she wants," he told Dusty.

Dusty looked at Alley for a moment before nodding silently and standing as well. "Yah... just let her sleep... If she gets all worked up about something just... well i dunno, whatever you want to do with her." she said quietly, walking to the door. "Let me know how she is sometime... whenever you have time." she felt tears coming again, she didn't know why, but something inside of her felt hurt. Maybe it was the pain of witnessing Alley's attack, maybe it was something else. She didn't know. She leaned on the door a moment and watched her friend sleep before giving her man a nod and walking away.

Avalanche watched her go, just a bit dissappointed. He felt like he had done something wrong. But he shook the feeling. It was probably nothing. He sighed, stood up and tossed another blanket over her. He wrote a note and left it on the table for her to find in the morning.
Alley, I hope you're feeling better after you got some sleep. Don't worry about anything, just yell if you need me. You're welcome to stay as long as you'd like. There's some food in the frige, help yourself if you're hungry. See you in the morning! -Avalanche
He then went back to be himself... that is if he could fall asleep.

((Next Morning Early...meanin' still dark early))
Dazzle hadn't seen Avalanche since she had brought him back. She wasn't even sure why she was here, they both had life's. From what she heard he was dating Dusty. Knocking hesitantly on the door. When no one answered she started walking away.

Avalanche opened the door. "Be quiet will ya- oh! Hey!" he said with a smile to his younger-sister-friend person. "Dazzle! Hey what you doin' heah so early anyway?" he said with a smile to her. He closed the door and stepped out into the hall.

Dazzle turned back to the door and smiled a little, "Nothin'. Sorry I woke ya up. I knew I shouldn't have come, I just kinda wandered oveh heah and, well sorry." She didn't know why she had come, but she turned back around.

"Hey hey," he said grabbing her by the shoulders, and turning her around once more to face him. "One: don't apologize," seems to be his catch phrase recently. "Two, ya don't just show up somewheres then leave, ya gotta say what ya came ta say, and if ya came for no reason, then stay for no reason! I've got a couple of guests right now, gotta make breakfast anyway... you wanna come in?"

Dazzle looked uncertainly at the door. She knew exactly what was on her mind, but shaking her head. Avalanche didn't need her problems. "Well, if ya have guests den I betteh just let ya entertain dem."

"Their asleep," he said bluntly. Avalanche wasn't stupid, he could tell when someone he's known for a while has a problem. He could do the same with so many other newsies in New York. "I ain't gonna make ya come in, but I am gonna ask ya what's wrong," he said folding his arms. "You tell me nothin', an' I'll call ya a liah," he added. It was obvious, to him anyway, that something was wrong, and she wasn't leaving now that she'd already come, without telling him what it was that was bothering her.

Dazzle laughed, "Ain't dat what most newsies are great at." She wasn't being nice, but she couldn't help it. "We seem ta always be improvin' da truth, so whats da difference?"

"When ya improve da truth ya helpin' ya way of life. When ya lie it's ta keep someone from findin' somethin' out." He clearly had that answer planned... or had thought about it previously, which is probably more likely. "And since ya hidin' somethin' youse bettah tell me what it is." He wasn't going to threaten her life, but if she showed up there was a reason. And knowing how these two could be... he would beat it out of her... well... nearly.

"Ya know sometimes its best ta just keep everythin' in and not share it. It causes more problems den it helps." Dazzle looked away, but then looked back up. She was angry, "Don't ya dare threaten me Alex!"

"I ain't threatin' ya Dazzle, keep ya voice down," he said, after all, people were still asleep inside. "Look I'm sorry, but if ya came here ya musta had a reason... other than jus... ta show up for no reason, and I know dat ain' tcha reason, because if dat were ya reason, ya wouldn't be so unhappy. So... spill," he said.
