She laughed and grinned. "OH I will."she said and then set the towel down after drying her last dish. "I guess I better let ya get back ta....doing whatever. " She smirked and grabbed her hat setting it back on her head.

"And I better let you get back to... doin' whatevah you're doin' too," he said with a smirk. "Thanks again for dinnah, it was great!" he said, now sufficiently full, as he would probably be for a few days after that. "An' come back some time, I promise I'll make ya soup," he said with a wink.

Jester grinned and nodded. "yeah, cause I have so much to doo.."she said sarcastically and then hugged him kissing his cheek. "Ill definately be back for that soup. Ill see ya around Ave."She smiled waving as she headed out the door.

"See ya Goofball!" he called after her chuckling a little before he headd to the closet to get his hat and coat. They'd be looking for him back at headquarters any time now, and the last thing he needed was trouble with people like that.

Dusty knocked at Avalanches door. She wanted to quit now. She needed him with her when she did. The stress of it all was making her crazy. She had to quit. Today. She knocked more. 'ALEX" she near squeeled.

"I wanna quit! And i wanna quit now!" she nearly screamed at him, her voice rising hysterically. She had recently heard that the Rancounters would sooner kill you then let you leave them. She looked at him desperatly, pulling at her hair and turning in circles around herself. She was so scared and nervous, she feared she might hurt someone!

"Calm down, Dusty, please!" he said trying to grab a hold of her. "Quit what?" What did she have a drinking problem, quit smoking? Did she want to quit their relationship? He was extremely confused... he couldn't help her much until he knew what they were quitting.

"The RACOUNTERS ALEX" she squeeled, stopping the circle turning and staring at him desperatly. "please." she took a deep breath, her heart was racing, she was scared out of her wits. "I have to quit.. you have to quit... WE have to quit..." she didn't want him associated with them anymore.

"You have to quit," he said to her. "And you do need to quit as soon as possible I agree, so let's go do that," he said as he dashed to the closet to get his coat so they could go and do just that.

She grabbed his hand. "So are you." she said, her eyes twinkling in the dim light, she cared about him, therefore she wanted him to be just as safe as she would be. "For me?" she asked, pouting a little. Her eyes were concerened.

He sighed and shook his head. "Dusty I... can't. I need you to let me do this," he said pleading with her. He couldn't quit, he had his reasons, but... he needed her to do this, for him. He needed to be selfish this time. "But I will do what ever I can to get you out."

She watched him for a moment before turning away, a tear running down her cheek. She bit her lip. "I don't want you killed." she whispered, her voice shaking with sweet, blunt passion. Closing her eyes a moment, Dusty thought of her life without him. It was painful, she wouldn't do it. So she shook the thought away...She didn't want him killed

"I won't be killed, I swear to you, everything will be fine. I'll be fine," he said putting an arm around her shoulders. "I swear to you, I wouldn't be doing this if I weren't certain that I'd be fine." He spoke softly to her, reassuring her.

She wipped the tears away with one hand and wrapped the other around him, leaning against his shoulder. "They're vicious, Avalanche. I've heard such stories about what they do to you if you try to leave." she whispered, the pain in her heart building again. She bit back on the urge to scream. A strange wave of anticipation swept through her. What if they killed both of them? She shuddered.
