Moira nodded, then shrugged. "In my experience...those who seem to have all the luck, will have one massive unlucky streak that could kill them in the future." She smiled lopsidedly. "Though I doubt dat would happen to your friends..."

Moira nodded. "Yeah..I suppose I should get some rest. I've been up quite a bit, trying to figure out this thing you call selling." She smiled. "And wasting time getting lost, and meeting a great lad." Her new york accent was stronger now that she was tired.

"Well gee." He laughed, hopping to his feet and holding a hand out for her. "If you want, in da mornin, you could hop on with me, and I'll take ya round hattan. I can promise some sellin tips, a good lunch, and a walk home." He grinned a little, leaving it up to her.

Moira nodded and took his hand, standing up to her full five foot ten heigth. She was a bit self concious of it, and tended to slump a bit when she stood around people.
"That sounds good..." She laughed and blushed a tiny bit. "I guess I got a bit of luck when I got lost. Always a plan for everythin'." She was greatful he wanted to help her.

He ruffled her hair, being none too short himself. "But of course." He grinned, leading her to the edge of the roof. "Jack wont mind too much if you took my bunk. I'll be fine on the floor." There were a lot of new kids coming in, and beds were takin quicker then ever.

Moira raised an eyebrow, her pretty green eyes widening. "Oh no, Iwouldn't dream of that. I'll sleep on the floor."
She smiled. "I used to all the time at the orphanage, when we got new kids in. Until they got them a bed. Or found someone for them to double up with." She had always been a kind of mum to some of the younger kids. She enjoyed it.

"Well guess what." He looked at her as he quickly slid down the ladder. He went first, just in case she slipped. He doubted it, but accidents happened. "This is my orphanage, and you're the new kid. So, you get the bed."
Blink could be quite stubborn when it came down to it.

Moira laughed and pointed at him. "Turn around. I'm in a skirt." She smirked and looked down at him. "Can't ever trust a pirate."
She smiled brightly. "Maybe. Or I might just knock ya out and take the floor anyways."

Blink laughed, faking a sigh and snapping his fingers as he turned around obediently. "Now, now, lass...I have given you no reason not to trust this pirate."
"You can try." He grinned. "But I wouldn't advise it, cause then I'd get soaked for letiin a lady sleep on da floor. Not to mention, I'd pitch ya in the rivah tomorrow foah it."

Moira slipped down the ladder quickly and tapped him on the shoulder to tell him she was down. "Oh really? chivarly ain't dead?" She let out a mock gasped and giggled. "And you best not pitch me in. Its chilly..I'd catch my death!"

He smirked at her crookedly, and gave her a wide sweeping bow toward the door that led downstairs. "Nay, milady. It is not." He winked. "Well then, what's that tell you on where you're sleepin. Wouldn't want to make me feel bad for takin the bed while you the floor?"

Moira sighed. Speaking of chill, she was going to have to work her butt of to buy a coat soon. Most of her clothing had been lost in the fire. She wasn't worried. Things always worked out.
"Fine fine...I'll take the bed. You are so stubborn!" She laughed and walked inside.

"Ever met a pirate that wasn't?" He asked good naturedly, following her with a grin. "Its in my nature to be stubborn, pig-headed, and all around hard to handle. You soah picked the right newsie to talk to."
((upstairs/Bunks we go?))
