"Hello, Aria." He give her a big hug, looking her over. "How are you doing?" He skipped right over the questions, instead turning toward Flanna. "She needs you to look over her hand." He wanted to add more onto that, but the hand was good for now. Broken body could be fixed. But for the rest they needed the person who wasn't there.

Aria raised an eyebrow, til the girl held out her hand. Her heart dropped. "Mon deu!" She whispered, sighing. "Come girl." She lead Flanna to a chair, lighting a candle and grabbing some thick thread and a needle. "...Daniel. I need a knife." She slowly took the girl's hand and unwrapped the gauze. ...and it wasn't good.
"And I'll need you to hold her down." She soothed the girl a bit. "...I'm sorry hun. But better than losing your hand."

Ace pulled the knife off his belt, flipping it in his hand before giving it to Aria, standing behind Flanna. "Just tell me what to do, and i'll do it." He said, nodding. Licking his cracked lips, he was glad they were all here. Or else things might have been different.

Once Flanna was secure, Aria began to heat the knife over the flame, and once she was sure it was nice and hot, she grabbed Flanna's hand.
"Sorry mon cher..." She pressed the knife to the flesh, her nose scrunching up a bit at the smell. Surprisingly, Flanna didn't scream though. She just sat there, flinching a bit. That in itself was worrying.
Once that was over, she poured some water over it, sewing up any open parts of the wounds. Once she was sure everything was going to be okay, she wrapped some fresh gauze over it.
It had taken about fifteen minutes, and afterwards Aria felt drained. This was horrible.

Ace, seeing he wasn't needed, had sat down, chin propped up with one hand. He wanted to go out and find Razor, but that was impossible. He only hoped the Brooklynite had enough sense to figure it out on his own. Biting at his lip, he shook his head. "Why're you here, Aria?"

Aria sighed and layed Flanna down on her bed, who seemed at a near faint.
"...I'm collateral. I keep Officer Clarence from turning them all in." She sighed. "...And I'm sure you'll find out soon...I'm pregnant. Which keeps Carter from interfering with them even more."
She paused. "...and why are you here?" She raised an eyebrow. "...never thought you would join in with this scum."

Ace winced sligtly. So that was why she was here. Couldn't say he was really surprised, they had some good leverage against the cops. But pregnant? Wow. He soojk his head and sighed. "That's not good."
Raising an eyebrow to mirror hers, he shrugged. "Surprise?"

Ariannette shrugged. "It's okay. They won't harm me, and I'm happy about the child. Clarence is...a mixed back though. They told him about the kid...not me."
She snorted. "And that isn't an answer. I want a real answer now, Daniel Cardoni. Now."

Ace raised his hands, "Maybe i felt like it, Aria. You're not my mother, and its not like being a newsie is easy, and being leadah is worse. I needed the money, and its that bad a deal if you think about it. That good enough an answer for you?"

Aria shook her head. "...I'm disappointed in you. These people are bad." She pointed to Flanna. "Look what they did to your friend, Daniel." She put a hand on her stomach. "...I'd rather not have my child in captivity."
And she snorted. "And you know very well if you needed money or were in any trouble, you could have come to me. Instead of resorting to total crime. It's despicable, and I thought you were better than that." Her air of importance was back, and she started to turn away.

"I dont take charity, Aria." Ace shrugged, arms crossed lightly. "Besides, you should know me by now." He raised an eyebrow, a slight smirk spreading across his face. "And as long as we're on the subject of disappointment...."

Aria turned back to him, her eyes flashing. "...and what does that mean, Daniel?" She crossed her arms. Even if he was a member of the Raconteurs now, he wasn't a leader. She wasn't about to take lip from him.

"I'm extremely disappointed in you." Ace stretched calmly, the glare and sharp tones ignored. Biting at his lip, he stiffled a yawn. "Come on, Aria! This is me we are talking about."

Aria sneered. "The boy who stupidly got his face bashed in, then got in another fight, and has proceeded to ignore things I've tried to do to help you. So why would I think you were smart enough to pull something like this off?"
She paused and laughed softly. "In fact, joining this group to do something 'good' is downright stupid."

Ace laughed, "Now now, hold on a moment here. All those fights had reasons for them, and it helped me out to get where i am now. Sneaks and I are good friends, and he came with me." Out of all the fights, the ones between him and Sneaks were the most...memoriable you could say.
He shrugged, "Maybe im stupid."
