well, thats look at it from this standpoint first off- cause before we go on the other section of this board and duke it out with our characters, we need to know how each person stands and how the fighting will go. Killing him in, say Manhattan or Queens, would give Spot even more reason to be angry- cause if it were in Brooklyn- it wouldnt be a war, and somehow we need to pull the Bronx into this, cause Ace needs a reason. hmmmmmmm.

Couldn't the other two boroughs get pulled in simply by having to take a side?

yeah, i guess, but that would be really weird- considering no one wants a war (hehe, beg to differ!!!) and it would seem odd of them to do that. But if we have it in a different borough, it can pull them in, and then the other can take a side, or something. *Shrug*

well Ace feels loyal to Red (who's in Brooklyn)
and Prince has an ever so small crush on Jack, right?
hmm, hmm?

Correct, she does.
How about this? People from both buroughs spend a lot of time together. (Take for example... Prince is currently with Jack at Tibby's, but is really close with Fancy, and has been seen in Brooklyn with Spot and Red as well.) What if... whenever the dead boy found, we just put the leaders together. Have Ace and Spot be talking, and Prince and Jack. That way they each know that they didn't do it, and that their ally didn't do it because they were with them the whole time. But... they have no way to prove that it wasn't both of them. With me?

should it be discussed on the other thread or kept sort of just between us? I mean that perhaps just create the problem/war and let everyone else play along with it as it goes? so they really don't know who did it and it's sort of mysterious?
I don't know how well it would work, I'm just throwing ideas out here.. ;P

naw, im sayin on the IC board under the leader section- its kind of like a place where the leaders meet and discuss stuff. so they could go there and argue about who did it, and whos fault- and thats where they pick sides and stuff. but no, definately dont tell anyone else.
i still think we should have the boroughs closed off though- like Brooklyn and Bronx can only stay there, and not go to Queens or Manhattan, cause of the war thing. ya think?

right, I think people will have to stay in the safe boroughs unless they want to get soaked!
I'm just wondering now, how effective will the leader board be, the IC one that is, if no one can see what their leaders are talking/arguing about?

Is there anyway to let them see it without havin' a reply button or somethin' like that? Just so they can see, and not talk? I dunno if you can do that... figure it might be worth a shot.

Okay, so when the war's gotten started and all that it'll probably start off huge. Everyone whose with othah people will hafta go their seperate ways until it's over. People from Queens and Manhattan can only go to Queens and Manhattan. People from the Bronx, and Brooklyn can only go to the Bronx or Brooklyn. (That's how I understood it anyway. Please correct me if I'm wrong.)
But... how is it gonna end? How do you end a war when the newsies are isolated like that? It's very possible that I'm missunderstanding this too.

no, you're right. ^_^
and as for ending, i dont know bout you guys, but i can account for one of my characters- Red is NOT gonna take this sitting down. He's gonna be right up in the middle of it, looking for clues and trying to figure it out. being annoying and nosy is something that he does well- after all, he had Spot as a son! ^_^ heh.
