Peem smirked, leaning in to eat a bit. "...Strange. Never seen you around. Just get here?" He regarded her, taking her all in.
"Too bad about your memory...Mine is impecable." He shrugged. "...What is he to you?"

Smokes stabbed at the icecream a bit. "You could say that. I come and go every now and then. "
She ate a spoonful of icecream, turnin her nose up a little. "Just a guy I gotta find."

Peem raised an eyebrow. "What's his name? ...I travel around a bit. Perhaps I know him.." He watched her with curiosity.
She was a curious one, to be sure.

"Farlan Cooper." She said it with disgust, showing him the picture. "Goes by the name of Coop."

Peem raised an eyebrow. "...wow. Bitter much?" He didn't mean it in a harsh way. "What did he do to you?"
He paused. "...rumour is that he went off with another Bronx girl. Went to join some...people. Raconteurs, I believe they were called." He pulled out a cigarette and lit it, taking a drag. "...Not that I know much about them."

"Raconteurs," she whispered. She looked at Peem. The softness of her eyes had hardened. "It's not what he did to me." She stopped. "Do you know who this girl is?"

Peem shrugged. "...Is it what he didn't do?"
He took a long drag, posing. "Yeah. Her name is Murder. Ambiguous in nature." He shrugged again. "I don't know about her much. She doesnt talk."

Smokes smiled. "You sure do you a lot of big words."
Her smile faded just as quick as it had came. What's he doin hangin 'round some mute? She shook her head. "The less you know the better."

Peem shrugged. "...I like to keep my mind sharp." He smirked. "...About why you need to see him?"
He shrugged. "...Why are all you Bronx girls so ambiguous? Murder clearly knows more than she ever lets on...I am damned sure she can talk but doesn't so she can gain more information."
He grumbled and then shook himself. "Sorry. Yesyes..mysterious are supposed to make you more 'interestng' or something." He laughed softly. "Not saying that you are being pretentious mind you.." He looked her over. "..I suppose you are going to tell me some questions should be left unanswered?"

Smokes almost laughed. She rested two fingers on her head. "Everyone's mysterious now. It's gotten to where you're interesting if your an open book." She stared off jokingly. "The inner machinations of my mind are an enigma."
She leaned forward on the table. "I aint from the Bronx, either. This Murder girl seems like quite a character."

He smirked. "Oh really now? Then where you from?" He finished his cigarette, putting it out on the table. "..And yeah. I haven't spent much time around her. She's real close to Ace, our ledah. " He sighed. "I don't like talkin' to her. Its like she is always playin' a chess game with ya--and I just don't want ta play."
He turned to her. "So be an open book. Why ya want to find Coop?"

"Brooklyn." She smiled. "Ah, smart. Usin' my own stuff against me. She fiddled around with her cigar. "Long story short, I just do." She smiled, even bigger, trying not to laugh. For some reason she was feeling really happy and she didn't know why. It was very unusual for her to be like this.
"I mind my business, you mind yours."

Peem laughed softly. "...I'm not takin' that for an answer...that's still too mysterious to be intersting." He smirked. "..and be careful, I'm one to remember them words and bring them back up." He winked. "I told ya. My memory never lets anything go. It's like a Scottish bog."
His accent was coming back a bit. "...Sure sure..but what if my business becomes yours, or vise versa? Can't very well not mind yours, then no?" He wasn't threatening, just keeping the banter light.

Smokes nodded. "Well, yeah. But that's when your business becomes mine."

Peem chuckled. "...oh...when, not if?" He ate a bit of the now near melted ice cream. "...come on, luv. A bit o info. Don't leave me kilt blowin in the breeze." His dark blue eyes glittered.
