Getting to his feet, the other gave him a curt nod. "If you need anything Warden, you know where to find me. Have a nice day." And, turning on his heel, he left the room.

Leone wasted no time in walking straight in, "I have reports that Ace is rethinking this." He snapped, "I thought you told me this would not happen?!" He was quite enraged. His little brother was not stupid, and all their plans were unraveling quickly.
The fight at the Distribution Center in Manhattan also reached his ears. One WORD slipped from those brainless oafs' mouths could ruin the entire plan, and he had good reason to believe Kid...what was it...Blink..? Had heard more then he should have.
"We must fix this. Now."

Snyder was rather shocked when Leone burst into his office with next to no indication as to why... that is until he explained. "I told you this wouldn't happen IF you intervened. You havn't spoken with your brother have you? You told me you would handle it," he said not too happy with his business partner. It had been Leone's job to handle Ace.

"What do you expect me to do?" His eyes were on fire. "Danny has NEVER shown me even a hint of this will of his. I thought he would be fine as long as he was paired with Spot. I did NOT expect him to suddenly grow a backbone!"
He paced from side to side, arms crossed. "If our 'talk' doesn't go as planned....My brother might just have to meet some nasty end i fear. Better for me in any case."

Never underestimate the will of a Newsies Leader... he'd learned that. "Do what ever you want, what ever you have to, but make him stop thinking about it. As far as that... idiot Delancey boy, he won't do much more damage. He knows the consequences if he does. He didn't tell the boy that he'd killed the kid! Just implyed it. I'm sure those boys have killed more than one person," Snyder said hoping that this was true.

Leone shrugged, "In any case, keep a leash on him. This takes both of us to work this. Im about to head on over to Brooklyn, maybe i can catch little Danny before he speaks with Spot." He spun on his heel, but paused at the door. "You better pray these newsies aren't smart enough to figure this out by what we've let slide. Its a sticky ledge as it is." And he stalked out.

Snyder watched him go. He was right this was a bad situation, and if the newsies did figure it out it would be bad. However... it was unlikely they'd know that Leone and he were behind it. He wasn't too worried. And if worse came to worse Snyder could pay the Delancey's to kill off the leaders! Wouldn't be hard... He'd have to think more on that, but for the time being he went back to work.
