Sneaks shrugged and admitted. "Well, after that string of good luck I had a string of bad luck. I lost that money." He laughed. "That is the way of a gambler. Win money, lose money, lose lots more, then win more. Viscious cycle. Killed my father.." He smirked. "But I won't let it kill me. Hense, becoming a newsie."
He put his cards down, revealing his hand. "Beat that."

Sneaks smirked. "Oh really now? Somehow, I think I may enjoy that..." He shrugged. Twins are assumed to be alike, but everything has its opposite. His hand was crap this time, but he kept a very smug, confident look on his face.

Flare couldn't tell if he had a good hand, or was being his usual cocky self. She took two cards and was looking at a pair of tens, she figured not bad. When the waiter came over she ordered herself another drink.
"Yoah an odd one Nicholi, theahs no doubtin' dat."

Sneaks laughed. "And you like it that way, Madame Flare..." He placed his cards down, a pair of jacks. "Hopefully I beat you this time. If I didn't...I might look like my boasting isn't true..."

Sneaks smirked. "Indeed it is. Couldn't let you knock it down that much. Where would that leave me?" He sipped on his second cup of coffee. "Now...would you care to learn blackjack, or shall I interest you in something non card related?"

"As much as Ise like ya company, it's gettin' late an' Ise should be gettin' back ta de lodgin' house," she stood up and smirked lightly, " 'Sides, I'll be seein' ya at the Distribution Centeh in de mornin'."

Sneaks nodded. "Alright...But I expect to see you. I'll make sure you are safe." He stood and paused for a moment. "Please...keep that card I gave you. May help you when you least expect it." He smiled and kissed her hand quickly, whistling as he walked out of the cafe and into the night.
