"Alice come on don't cry. Moms gonna be home soon and then what will she think? Just tell me whats wrong and I'll fix it."
"Thomas, I can't. I don't want to get beat up again."
"Kate what are you talking about? Whose beating you up?" This scared Flick his little sister getting beat up.
Flick looked out at the river and thought Gawd, why her? Why Kate? She didn't deserve ta die. It should have been me. Flick felt something warm on his cheek, but didn't bother to move to swipe it away.

Cheater was suprised to see Flick crying and put a comforting arm around his shoulder. "You okay Flick?" She questioned, feeling her stomach cramping up. Biting her lip, she looked out over the water.

Flick looked down at Cheater, "Nothins wrong, just thinkin of the past." The Flick felt her grimace, "Whats wrong?"

"Oh... my stomach just hurts, that's all." Cheater said casually, her stomach hurting again. "Happens allll the time..." the pains increased a bit and she clenched her fists. "Uh... c'mon then..."

"We're goin' ta da docteh right?" Flick wasn't for sure where they were going, but he thought that Cheater needed to see a doctor right now.

"Are ya sure your alright?" Flick looked at her worried. She didn't look like she was doing alright. He followed her and kept close in case she needed help.

"Flick!" She yelped as he picked her up. "I'm fine! Lemme down!" But eventually she stopped and sighed. "Keep going straight, there's a sign that shouldn't be too hard to miss."

"Cheater I was only jokin'. I couldn't drop ya, ya to light," Flick said.
"If ya drop me I'll hurt you and then tell mom!" Alice screamed as Flick carried her over to the river.
"Oh, sure, just go and run to mom," Flick grinned down at her as he tossed her into the river.
Cheater was so much like his sister.
