Prince laughed. "I'll hold ya to dat," she said with a smile sitting beside her friend. She looked up at the sky and got quiet again, but this time her mood was happier, not the way it was when Fancy first came. She smiled quietly letting her mind wonder a bit onto nothing in particular. Then, she decided to make conversation again. "So... oddah den da weddin'... anythin' else happenin'?" After all, there wasn't much to report in Queens. She thought Fancy might have some news.

Fancy sighed "To be completly honest i have been so wrapped up in this whole wedding thing that i haven't paid attention to anything else!" Then a thought struck her "Why? Prince is something wrong?"

"What ya mean wit' me? Nah," she said rolling her eyes. "I'm fine, just curious is all," she said. She leaned back on the steps with a smile. "What, somethin' wrong wit' youse? Oddah den..." she leaned towards Fancy and took her first finger and tapped Fancy's head, "up heah?" She was kidding of course, she didn't think Fancy was crazy, or stupid or anything, and you ould tell because of the smile on her face.

Flanna watched the two girls quietly from across the street. She had seent that the Queens Newsboys needed new members, and since the money and security was much better than simple pickpocketing, she decided to join in.
Two the two girls across the street, Flanna would look like a young boy of 14 or 15, for Flanna hid her true gender well. No one would guess that the boy slightly smirking at the girls was actually a girl.
Pulling herself to her full, but small, height, she walked over and coughed softly, hoping to grab their attention. "I'm looking for newsboy work. I assume I can get it here?"

Prince looked from Fancy to Flanna quietly and looked slightly annoyed. Switching her voice quickly to a lower register she leaned forward and looked at Flanna. "Prob'ly... can I help youse?" she asked as she stood up to her full height, a little taller than Flanna and folded her arms across her chest. It's not like Queens had gone to the dogs since Prince had taken over after Fancy left, she still kept a tight shift around here.

Flanna raised an eyebrow. "No need to get so defensive laddie." Her irish brough was a bit thicker when she lowered her voice to sound more like a boy. "I'm just looking for some honest work." She kept her ground, looking the taller boy in the eye, making sure the boy knew that Flanna was no pushover. "If you don't need help, I can go else where."

Flanna didn't blink an eye when Prince spit into his hand, and she spit into hers and shook his hand soundly. "Flan. I'm defensive as well." Her smirk widened a bit. "Glad you said yes. Otherwise whatever was in your pockets would be mine." She said it in jest, making sure to keep the tone light to show she meant no real harm.

Prince looked at the girl in slight suspicion, and was now a little worried to what she had just agreed to. "Wull... just a suggestion," Prince said in a light hearted tone of her own, "keep ya sticky fingahs to yaself 'round heah. No body'll appreciate youse stealin' an honest days pay outta deir pockets," she said. "But good luck to yas, and welcome ta Queens," she said with a nod, her voice still low enough to make her sound like a teenage boy.
It wasn't until then when she realized something. "Oh, sorry... uhh... dis is Fancy," Prince said introducing Flanna to Fancy. She felt like an idiot for not doing it earlier to be honest.

Fancy stood as well, she was taller than both of them, her being 17 and all. She offered her hand to Flanna and smiled "Nice to meet you..." she said politly, even though she knew there was no one around to impress.

Flanna nodded and shook her hand. "Nice to meet you as well, lassie." She smirked a bit and looked to Prince. "And I will. I don't pick pockets of coworkers. Unless ya cross me." She winked and headed in. "I'll see ya around I suppose."

Prince nodded to Flanna as a goodbye. "Wull... dat was interestin'..." Prince said with a smile as she sat back down on the steps. "Dat makes... four new newsies... recently," she sighed a bit. "It's gettin' crazy 'round heah Fancy," she said smiling. "Anyway, back ta my question..." she said, since she never had gotten an answer.

Prince looked at Fancy's smile and looked slightly scared. "Uhhh... okay..." Prince said accepting that answer. "I guess life's good then... good..." she said nodding slowly. "You sure you're okay up here?" she asked tapping her head again as a joke.
