She gave him a long once over, looking him up and down as she considered. "You've done well for a dead man, Aidan." Yes, she was sure of it now, the aye and those piercing looks. That did it for Lia, she knew him-- it was the look it was the attitude and she had thought he'd died. "Aye, you've done very well for yourself.." How long had it been? She'd been a skinny girl last time they'd seen each other, far from the woman she was now if she remembered right.
"Don't worry, I've no intention of spreading that information around. Sean O'Malley was offed not to long ago, we're keeping our heads down for the moment."

He lifted an eyebrow at his given name and gave her another once over for good measure. She was obviously better at remembering faces then he was or he'd left her with enough pleasant memories to stick out. A cocky grin crossed his face and he didn't even think about the fact that she'd called him a dead man. In his line of business it was often that rumors of his demise were invented. "Well, lass, as long as you think so," He replied with a wink. He wondered why working at a dock would be him doing well for himself but maybe she wasn't as familiar with the tedious work he had to do here as she thought she was. In any case, he shrugged it off for now.
"Sean O'Malley?" He'd heard the name a few times which was nothing unusual considering he was a frequent visitor to McGinty's and the boys sister and ex worked there. Then it hit him, Sean had been a member of Five Points. 'Ah, so that's where the lass knew him from,' Scar thought to himself. He studied her a bit harder and realized who she was. "Won't bother me much if you do. No one's going to come after me." Not when they found out what was waiting for him and who he worked for now. "Besides I thought my new lease on life would be old news to you by now. I saw Luke and Finn not long ago when I stopped by Rac for a game of cards."

"I've been in Boston until the last week." She didn't mind telling him a bit of detail, where she had been wasn't nearly as important as it should have been. She was the one that ordered things and got the ball rolling on certain jobs. She'd been busy, it was normal. No one pretended to know exactly what Amelia did and the gangly girl she used to be was replaced by an elegant woman. Daughter of a whore and a gambler who somehow managed to fool those in the higher echelons that she was one of them. That was all good fun really.
"I haven't seen much of the lads since I just got back. I might have to pop in," she'd been doing some digging on Sean's death-- after all losing one of their own had been the kind of thing that touched some of them. Some more than others, Sean had been one of the few people that could get the frigid woman to give a warm smile. Otherwise all were met with ice. "You should come in more often than, Aidan. We've got a few new games in the basement you won't be to sore to waste money on."
