Devan watched him mull over her question before responding and she couldn't help but wonder if he was trying to find a polite way of wording what he did for a living. A small smile crossed her face at the thought and she put it down to her imagination. She did tend to let it run away from her more times then not which is half the reason she got into as much trouble as she did.
"That sounds...." She trailed off, trying to think of a way to say what she was thinking without offending him. Finally she gave up and shrugged, "Fairly boring. To be honest." She gave him her brightest smile to counteract her words in case he took offense to them. "How did you meet your boss?"
She figured they must know each other pretty well for him to have put so much faith in Logan and put him in charge as his second-in-command. Whatever that was.... "So what do you do for fun?"
