She frowned lightly, confused at Sweetheart's ramblings. She sounded angry and Ankh didn't understand why. She hadn't even said 20 words to the girl. Furrowing her eyebrows worriedly, Ankh shook her head, "I do not know to what you are talking about." She was just here to help the girl get back to the Bronx safely and in time. Offering sweetheart a small smile, she shook her head, "You did not cause me to get behind it, we can still have time to get there." If they left soon, they would make it to the distribution center in time to sell.

Sweetheart blushed. "My customers think I'm ten and I'm not. It just annoys me." she explained. She smiled. "Good idea. And I don't think weve really met before. What's your name?" she asked as they started walking to the distribution center. She was happy that her Midwestern accent didn't appear. Her accent annoyed her more than anything. It made her stand out, something she absolutely hated. She preferred being in the background instead of the center of attention. After all, she had grown up trying to avoid attention.

Ankh smiled back at her, "I am Ankh. Nice to meet you." She lead the way to the Manhattan distribution center where the Bronx newsies sold. They and the Manhattan newsies both sold The New York World, just in different boroughs. The gates would be opening in twenty minutes and they were to meet Lexi there a bit before then. They would make it, but wouldn't be able to stop anymore. Looking over at the girl, Ankh raised a curious eyebrow, "Why do you not want to look ten? Young is good for selling, no?"
