This is the biography of FIDDLER MCGOWAN
----Colleen “Fiddler” McGowan was born June 15, 1883 to Seamus and Erin McGowan in Ireland. She is the second of seven children. In 1889, when Colleen was six, the family immigrated to America. They landed in Manhattan, where Seamus worked as a bartender and a musician and Erin was a seamstress. Erin and two of her children caught pneumonia and died; Seamus was crushed. Colleen and her older brother, Max, took care of the remaining children while Seamus worked hard to earn money for the family. Soon, when the other children were old enough to attend public school, Colleen and Max got jobs of their own. Max delivered milk to the city, and Colleen became a newsie and a street performer - she played Irish reels on her fiddle, earning her the nickname “Fiddler.”
Fiddler is a very outgoing, bubbly girl who enjoys company and people. She has quick temper, though, and it lasts quite a long time. If someone pisses her off, she’ll probably throw whatever’s close to her and then storm out of the room to take a walk and cool off. She’ll only return when her temper has subsided. But other than that, she’s a kind, bubbly, friendly girl. She loves performing, whether on the street, in a lodging house or perhaps, on a stage one day. Her most dear love is music - she is constantly practicing and trying to perfect her craft. When not performing or practicing, she carefully hides her prized fiddle and sells newspapers. Fiddler is extremely loyal to her friends, and if you mess with one of them, you mess with her. She’s tough, but she puts a lot of trust into people, which is a dangerous thing to do. She knows that working hard is the only way to achieve your goals. Not afraid to admit that she’s doing something wrong, and she knows that she’s not always right.
She hates people who are self-righteous and think they’re right all the time. An inflated ego irritates her to no end. Constantly persisting that someone’s opinion is right and no one else’s sometimes sets her temper off.
Fiddler still sends money home at the end of every week. Her combined profits from performing and selling newspapers allows her to send some money home and get meals and lodging as well. She still cares very much for her family and misses them, but she loves her newfound freedom on the New York streets as well.
(The name's Jay, I found you through an internet search, and I also play Jenny Kincaid. XD )
