“If you define cowardice as running away at the first sign of danger, screaming and tripping and begging for mercy, then yes, I guess I'm a coward.” - Jack Handy
Full Name: Irving Chauncey Kierkegaard.
Age: 16
Appearance: Pale, white blond hair. Pointed face, pale skin and gray eyes that often look cold and disdainful. 5’7” and very skinny.
Personality: Irving is something of a whiner and he is not above using a relatively minor injury to his own advantage. He has no problem using offensive or hurtful language toward others and he doesn’t need much incentive to ridicule someone. He's a bigot, a bully, and, putting it nicely, he knows exactly what will hurt people. Irving never feels any remorse for his actions. He is someone who is very capable of compartmentalizing his life and his emotions. He has shut down his pity and his compassion, enabling him to bully effectively. There is a real moral cowardice to Irving, but he is not wholly bad.*
Skills: Faking injuries; finding where you hurt and rubbing salt in it; spending money; whining about everything.
Interests: Himself, money, slacking off, being better than everyone else.
Siblings: None; he is an only child
Parents: Napoleon and Patricia Kierkegaard – deceased
Birthplace: Copenhagen, Denmark
History: As the only child of a family of extreme wealth, everything went Irving’s way. His parents doted on him to the extreme and he quickly adopted their twisted view of their own importance. In their eyes, the Kierkegaards were a cut above the rest, above the moral and legal laws that bind normal people, and far superior genetically.
He became a bully, pushing other kids around simply because he could. If there’s one thing Irving is good at, it’s finding what hurts and rubbing salt in it. His parents found his behavior rather endearing, teachers were paid to ignore it, and his followers didn’t want to be next.
Things went well for him, until one night two years ago, when his father’s business partner murdered his parents and shipped Irving off to America. The man provided him with only ten US dollars and some dry crackers in his pocket. Not used to living with necessities alone, Irving blew quite a bit of the cash when he arrived on a hotel room and food. When the money was gone, the terrible truth of his situation began to sink in. Irving was alone, in a foreign country, with absolutely no funds. Fortunately, the English language was part of his everyday tutoring back home, so he had no problem communicating. He watched a newsie sell papes one day and decided that it was an easy job. Upon inquiry, he was taken to the Bronx boy’s lodging house where Dodger decided, against his better judgment, that Irving could be a newsie. Turns out, selling papes is not Irving’s cup of tea.
Other: Irving’s looking for a followers. ((PM me if you want to join the fun ^^ ))
