I was gonna specify my request as newsies around Shamrock's age (13) but since a lot of them have been kidnapped, I've changed it into a general request for some characters to rp with.
[Since I've joined Shamrock has rp'd with a total of one character (Tumbler).]

You know there isn't a limit to how many people can be in a thread at once! Just dive into any active thread! Or start up your own NEW DAY!! I'm just saything, I think this thread is rather superfluous.

Yeah, but some people hate to join in on an rp that's already on going.

And a lot of times, NEW DAYs just last for that one day, because no one happens along to see them.

I don't think thread diving is against any kind of board etiquette, but it's nice if you do to make note OOC that if the other members wanted to keep it a "private" thread of sorts you're willing to delete.

Lara too lazy to log out of Ali....
But their characters can always tell your character to take a hike. Or send a PM. I, for instance, have several *new days* open among my various characters. Replying to those, or starting your own *new day* is how we RP. I just don't understand the need for *this* thread is all I'm saying. I mean you can yell "Play with Dutchy over at Tibbys' Window booth!" in the chat box...

If you're having problems getting characters active here's a few tips: -Jump into a thread so long as it doesn't appear to be a serious plot ensuing. -Start a new day in a location that has been active for a little bit (the earliest allowed is 48 hours), and then if no one replies (I usually wait about... hey... 48 hours!) then post somewhere else! --If you have troubles gettin' people to respond to a new day try posting in other boroughs. some people are more likely to check posts that are in their areas of new york.
There are always ways to get in touch with others and even ask if they'd be interested in a role play. Feel free to jump in whenever/wherever you can!
Hope this helps!

I know we've RPed once before, but anytime you want to, I'm game. I'm new to the site myself and I haven't been very active here, but I really would like to be. I'm gonna try the stuff that Avalanche suggested.
