EXTRA EXTRA, READ ALL ABOUT IT! NEWSPAPER PRICES SKYROCKET!
That's right folks, but it's not the price to the consumer, it's the price to the newsies, a 10th of a cent per paper. You heard right, they jacked up the price. Want more information? Why not go ask Pulitzer himself?
Have a Nice day!
Any thread where people bought or are selling papers that was posted in before July 2nd, they are still oblivious, because for them, the price raise hasn't happened yet.
However, any thread that has a new day started on or after July 2nd, until further notice, is under the influence of the price raise.
Here is a price conversion formula to see just how much papers are now. You are by no means required to post the price of papers or how much you paid for them. But just incase you were curious how much papers were, and if you have any interest in including it in your post this is a math short cut.
(Originally papers for the newsies were 2 for a penny)
One penny will now buy you 1.66 papers.
To figure out how much you're spending for papers we'll use this example:
Jack bought 100 papers, and it cost him 60 cents.
100 / 1.66 = 60 cents (approx.)
Blink bought 50 papers, and it cost him 30 cents.
50 / 1.66 = 30 cents (approx.)
Wanna know how much your papers cost? Here's a formula
# of Papes bought / # of papers one penny will buy = Price
And at this point:
# of Papes bought / 1.66 = Price

Good Luck!
