The Cherry Street Lodging House
It is run by Mr. Jenkins, well he is the one that owns it. Hes not terribly old, around his sixties. Hes very nice. His family was killed by the flu and he was unable to marry another woman, since his wife was his one and only. A few years after his familys death he bought this place. Unsure what to do with it, the building sat for another year and a half until Mr. Jenkins had a knock at the door.
A young lad by the name of Scott Connelly was terrified and soaking wet looking for a place to stay. Something terrible had happened to him, but the young lad wouldnt say. Mr. Jenkins took him in. Though it would seem that this wouldnt be the last time. Apparently the building had a knack for attracting the young. The second one to come by was a young boy named Prince. Well thats what he went by. Prince was hiding a secret and it took a lot before Prince was comfortable enough to show Scott, now going by Frankie, and Mr. Jenkins that she was really a girl, but asked them not to tell. Now only the people she allows to know, knows shes a girl.
After Prince it all snowballed and more and more kids were hearing of the nice man that was allowing street kids to stay with him. Mr. Jenkins decided he needed to change the building so it was appropriate for this. With the Help of Prince and Frankie who were natural leaders to the runaways and street kids, they were able to make it a pretty decent place.
And so was created Cherry Street Lodging House.
