Name: Brian Valdez
Nickname: Bumlets--
How did he get it: He doesn't even remember anymore-- he says it's a cross between just someone not knowing his name and being told "Ya bum, lets go.." by Racetrack.
History: Bumlets was raised in Hell's Kitchen by two loving parents with an older sister. To ease the financial strain on his parents he moved out to become a newsie and help his folks now and again with money trouble. Unfortunately his father died in a work related incident so Bumlets every now and again goes home to visit his mother who still works as a seamstress.
Personality: He is talented in a lot of things but Bumlets is from a school of deep thought, he tends to think before he acts more then others and without Skittery around has taken it upon himself to remind everyone of how dire things can be.
He's terrified of girls, he sees them as chickens-- no not as chicks but as actual chickens that cluck and wave feathers around. Mostly the level of women in the lodging house gets on his nerves even thought there are only two women he actually likes.
Where he's going: He isn't sure about his future but it's been mentioned to him he should write for a paper and since he's not arguing that he just might--- sure beats working at the docks and dying.
