PERSONALITY

Charlotte is the cook that works at the Racs, she's tough as nails and determined, rarely letting others get to her. She is mothering and confident able to stand toe to toe with Killian or any other of the Five Points gang without losing her nerve. Because of how she was raised she knows life is tough and not once does she complain about her lot in life, as a matter of fact she loves cooking but the kitchen at Racs is HER domain and she rules it like a dictator of the finest proportions.

She is a mother in her own right, having a two year old son who's father was a member of the gang and died before the gang came to new york. He practically pursued her relentlessly until she agreed to see him and finally married him. She was in love, and those were probably her happiest years. But she is violently protective of her son, Alexander, willing to brandish a cast iron against anyone that would threaten him. Or her in anyway. though she's been known to wave a cast iron at the boys in the gang to make a point either way.

HISTORY

Charlotte was born the daughter of a privateer and his rather high minded wife who wanted so much more than to have a little girl and be married to just another well-- pirate. She hated her daughter just as much and the irish woman was bitter in the way she spoke and treated her only child. While Phineas Quade was out on the boat his wife did something unimaginable, she just abandoned her little girl at the local tavern and wandered off into the hills. Never to be seen or heard from again.

Luckily for Charlotte the tavern owner and his wife were good friends of her father and took her in until he got back though they were shamed at the actions of the mans' wife. Phineas, annoyed and bitterly angry at the treatment of his pride and joy sent word to some friends that his wife was not to be seen alive again. And so it was.

She moved to New York at the age of fifteen with her father, he joined the local Irish gang for pride, and she just shook her head and went to work as a waitress in a local pub. she didn't mind it and that is where she met Gideon, her late husband. He stalked her relentlessly until she finally agreed to go along with him and she had the most wonderful years of her life.

Two years ago she was gifted with her son, Aidan Alexander, but that happy day was marred with her husband's murder a week later. Her son, named after the gang's first leader, became the child of the gang but she knew she didn't want him in that life. But without any other options, she lives in a small apartment with her son now. Occasionally offering her couch to any of the boys that can't get to their own places or when they need to lay low.

Her loyalty is to the Points. It always will be.
