Age: Nineteen Place of Origin: Boston, Massachusetts – Italian heritage Occupation: Owner of Il Capriccio Public Knowledge: Former Bronx Leader Comes from Boston, Mass Owner of Il Capriccio Will always open his doors to newsies that are hungry; any time of the day History Danny was born to a rather well off set of parents in Boston, Massachusetts. They weren't rich by any means, but they weren't poor either, and they did well for themselves. He grew up happy, and loved, with an older brother, a gentle mother, and a father who was stern but always bought him candy on the way home from work. It wasn't until he was around five that his father lost his job and thing started to spiral away. They dropped to practically nothing, nearly losing their house before money started pouring in. More than ever before. They moved to a bigger home, started wearing finer clothing. They had all the food they could eat, and even though some would call their surprising fortune a blessing, even at seven Danny knew something wasn't right. His mother lost her gentle nature, started snapping more, losing her temper for apparently no reason, and he hardly saw his father smile after his sixth birthday. His brother grew more and more cold, more violent, and as time went on, it was extremely apparent what had happened. It wasn't rare, to walk the streets of Boston and find someone being beaten for money, or killed in an alley for talking to the wrong person. It was the lower end, certainly, not in highly civilized areas, but they'd passed through them a time or two. Danny could easily remember a hundred times when his father had covered his eyes and averted his own, and yet. Yet here he was, doing the same thing. A mafia man, the real truth behind their sudden fortune. He hated it. Hated the silence of their house, and the increasing rage building up behind his brother's eyes. He started spending more and more time out on the streets, skulking around for any manner of company. That was where he'd first met the newsies in Boston. They were a scraggy bunch, but likable, and they adopted Danny like one of their own, even going so far as to give him a name in case he ever left his home for theirs. He would go down every day, sometimes sneaking out at night to hunt down the newsies and join them in the lodging house, before things exploded back home, a past he rarely talks about anymore, and off he went, hitching a ride to New York. He set up shop in the Bronx, worked himself up to Leader, and let it go in the end. His past caught up to him, started to infect the life he'd created for himself and he made a decision that probably shaped the rest of his life. He packed up and put New York behind him. He wasn't expecting to return, and he told Miranda 'Lucky' Savario, who he had been dating at the time, to move on. That he would always care for her, always love her, but she shouldn't wait for him. It was hard to do, and is probably one of the only things Danny truly regrets. To return was never an option until it actually happened, and when he came back, came home he did a bit of soul searching and bought the old Eidlewiess, turning it into his own restaurant; Il Capriccio. Which he co-owns with the very same Miranda he left behind. About the Player Player Name: Sarah Requested Borough: All of them!
