Isabela
NAME: Isabela Rose
NICKNAME: Isabela
AGE: 20
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: She knows nothing but America, her family however is SpanishPERSONALITY
Isabela is very mysterious. She keeps to herself, keeps to her tent, and keeps to her cards. She’s a fortune teller, and reads a normal deck of playing cards. Well, it looks normal, but she has been working with the same deck for so long, she believes that she and the deck have a connection. She’s graceful, nice, sweet, and understanding, and hates giving bad news, even though, “the cards never lie.”
She’s fairly playful, but believes work comes first, and will stop in the middle of a dance to do a card reading if she’s getting paid for it. Though she does love to dance, and sometimes does that for money too. Her last time through town she had a tent down in Brooklyn, and her current plan is to set up shop in the same place with her same band of gypsies.
As far as Isabela is concerned, her cards are always right the way she reads them. She’s aware that there are other ways to read cards, and other ways to interpret them, however, she knows the cards her way. Because her cards and her have a mutual understanding on how to communicate, she reads them the way she understands them. It’s not wise to question her technique, because communication is all about how the two parties understand one another. And she has had lots of practice.HISTORY
Isabela is a gypsy, and she travels around the country side. Her mother was from Spain, but came to America with some more of her extended family. Upon arrival so many people were fascinated by their native culture that it occurred to them to tour around and show people their dancing, and trade. They soon met others like them, who called themselves Gypsies. Some of the family and some of the Gypsies exchanged caravans and parted ways, which is how Isabela’s father met her mother. Her mother was Spanish, and her father doesn’t know where he’s from.
Isabela learned to read cards from an older Gypsy who was looking to pass on the trade. Isabela’s deck of cards is Spanish, and has pictures of Spanish paintings on the Aces and Spanish dancing people on the backs of the cards. Her gypsy group passed through New York once before, and she liked it a lot. Chances are good at this point that she’ll continue moving on with her band when they move on. But should she find a reason to stay, maybe she’ll set up shop perminently.Who are you?Antha, 20, CST, Playing Prince, Avalanche, Synder, Mush, Jem, and others!
