"I think," Daisy began, taking Brook's hand in her own and squeezing her fingers lightly. "That if he's as good of friend of yours as your telling me, that in time, Snoddy will come around and understand why you did what you did. And even if he doesn't, at least you know that you loved him the best that you could." Daisy wasn't much on giving advice, but she said what she thought and felt and what she knew from her own experiences, she just hoped it helped.

"I do love him, mon che.. he's my friend, like family.." she was almost afraid she was missing something all together but she had to tell Blink how she felt, she had to make sure Snoddy knew she cared but.. he would find out in time. That was something she just couldn't fix. "Mesi bien, Daisy. For listening and.. being a good new friend.." she gave her hand a squeeze as well.

"I have faith that he'll come around," Daisy reassured her, though how she could have that confidence without even having seen Snoddy before, she couldn't say. "Aye Brook, tis good to have another friend to call my own as well." Daisy smiled then, lifting a hand to touch the yellow flower before looking at Brook. "Where were you off to then?"

"The meetin'." she said with a smile. "Jack's up in arms, Sweets came home bloody we're going to get the others back.." she nodded, she would fight. It was the way of her people as it were. Her granny's too, and she smiled. "After things are over, mon che.. we'll have tea."

"Meeting?" Daisy repeated, Dodger hadn't said anything about a meeting, not that he would have to her. "Ach, it worries me," She muttered because she couldn't imagine threats of 'going to get them back' turning out with anything less than significant bloodshed.
"Aye, I'd like that tea when it's all over. And if before then...if any of you or your friends if they need help, you can find me at McGinty's...or ask Dodger, he can find me," Daisy said, knowing there was little that she could do, but if there was blood, nurses would be needed and that was something that Daisy could manage.

She nodded, she'd heard of Dodger from of the boys at the lodging house but only met the Bronx leader in passing. But she nodded all the same, "I know where McGinty's is but Blink's afraid of Brooklyn so I'll just have to get one of my brother's to take me.." she was smiling. "Mesi, Daisy.."

"All the same, it's where I'll be," She flashed Brook a smile and squeezed her hand again. "Then have your brother bring you, if they are as sweet as you, I'd love to meet them." She had a hundred more words she wanted to say about being careful and taking care of the others and goodness don't let anything horrible happen to any of them, but it wasn't the time for that now.
"My thoughts will be with you in your battle. I don't have much, but I have steady hands and a head for nursing, if you need it," Daisy offered again before leaning over and spontaneously pulling Brook into a hug. "Be safe, Brook."
