"I've never thought much of what society dictated for me," Sarah commented, smiling at Naomi because she knew the other woman would understand. "I do think that I would like to freshen up before this rehearsal I just scheduled though," She said thoughtfully after a moment. "Any chance I could see where I'll be staying?"

Naomi nodded and took her friend's arm, "You'll be staying upstairs with me. there's an apartment across the hall. It's a nice one, though it wasn't used. It'll take a bit of cleaning but neither one of us has ever been afraid of hard work.."
Up the stairs and away from the girls it was quieter, around the back to where there were two duel apartments. One echoed the other in style and lay out but they had their own uniqueness also. "Arianette used that one, I haven't been in there since I took the place over. Her things are gone but her perfume still lingers.. it's almost haunting.." in a way, but she knew that Sarah would make the apartment her own.

"Barely in the city a day and already I have myself a job and an apartment of my own," Sarah said, laughter coloring her words as they walked up the stairs. "Naomi, darling, you are a dream." Sarah wasn't worried about the lingering affects of the previous owner, nor the hard work that it would take to make the apartment her own; she would manage and the place would feel like home sooner than most would imagine.
"And what of the men in this city, Naomi," Sarah said as they walked, voices echoing in the hallway. "Any hope they are a shred better than what is left out West?"

Naomi raised a brow and then laughed, "The men?" she smiled softly and folded her arms thinking about that. "Oh love, there are a million men in this city with a lot more class. Though they can still get a bit wild.."
The woman had found her dreams in New York, probably not a man but she had found a dream. A few dreams, here in the great city. And she wouldn't have it any other way.

"Oh but have you forgotten?" Sarah asked with a smile, mischevious glint in her eyes as she set down her bag and moved about the apartment. "I like my men a bit wild...I know a bit about taming them too."
Sarah hadn't had much luck in love, had perhaps given up on it a little, but it didn't mean she didn't know how to have fun and she intended to in a city this big, the possibilities could quite possibly be endless.
