Medda laughed at his excitement. "Thats just fine. Come by when you can and we'll get things started then, Robert."

He grinned, "I really cant wait! Oh and you can call me Robbie if you want." He stood up from the small table, feeling like a million bucks. He would act again and he just couldnt wait.

**new Day**
Evie hobbled backstage after a tiring performance. Her feet were aching from going over the routine so many times that day and then performing it. She sat down on a bench and pulled off her shoes. Her delicate feet were swollen and blistered. She ran her finger over them lightly and winced.

"Are you okay?" Cherry asked from where she sat at a mirror, pinning her hair back. She didn't dance at Irving Hall - she sang and acted - but she felt the pain of the girls who did dance, and who walked offstage wincing with each step they took.

((New Day))
The two newsies poked their heads in the back door and looked around. Prince blinked and then went inside, waving Lily in after her.

Lily checked to make sure no one was looking and sneaked into the backstage area behind Prince, trying very hard not to be conspicuous. This, however, had never been particularly difficult for her because of her small size. Even so, she kept in a shadowy area a little ways from the door.
"So what do ya think might be goin' on?" she whispered to Prince out of the corner of her mouth.

Prince shrugged. "No idea, seems quiet," she said as she walked a little more adventerously. She looked around a little. "Maybe their off in the wings," she said. "I'mma go check."

Lily nodded. She was still hiding in the shadows, hoping nobody would find her, kick her out of the backstage area and ban her from the theater for life.
Wouldn't that be just awful? No vaudeville at Irving Hall ever again. She shuddered at the thought of it. "Be careful, though," she called to Prince. "If we get caught, they'll never let us get back in again."

"I know, I know," she said. she carefully poked her head into the wings. She came back a few seconds later holding back giggles as best she could. "...the curtain is stuck," she said giggling loudly... though she was trying to be quiet... she was failing.

Lily blinked and a smile spread across her face."That was it?" she asked incredulously, a chuckle beginning to creep into her voice. Prince's laughter was infectious. "That was what was holding it up? The curtain was stuck?"
She began to giggle rather loudly as well, and when she realized this, she clapped a hand over her own mouth to try to stifle the sound so they wouldn't get in trouble. And for good measure, she put her hand over Prince's mouth as well.

Prince instantly went quiet and then giggled once more. "yeah... that's the hold up," she said giggling again. "Alright, what's say we get back to our seats? I think they found someone to go up to the faters and get it unstuck."
((sorry I've not been around. my world's been crazy. I'm sorry. But I'll be back more!))

((That's okay. My life's been pretty nuts, too. I can barely even stop and watch TV, I have so much stuff to do.))
Lily nodded and pointed her head towards the door. "Let's get going, then, before somebody finds us and we get in trouble." She looked around and headed towards the door as stealthily as she could move.

Prince agreed, and hardly moved stealthly at all as she practially ran at the door. She opened the door for Lily, "after you miss," she said with a soft smile. She glanced over Lily's shoulder, and saw no one comeing, so she assumed they were in the clear! Or, hoped they were.

[New Day]
Minna plucked and pulled at thread, busying herself with a new costume of bright blue and pale pink fabrics. Now having full time employment at Irving Hall, Minna was unreasonably cheerful.
Humming mindlessly and working at a dangerously fast pace, Minna had already pricked her fingers at least three--"Ouch!"--four times.
Minna put the injured finger in her mouth and pouted at the guilty needle. Her indignation soon dissipated and Minna quite literally twirled her way across the room to the one of the dressing room mirrors.
Grabbing a brush, Minna pulled it through her hair, yet humming the endless tune. True, Minna was easily distracted but she did get the job done and the product was almost always pleasing.

((New day))
Heart pounding, Fishah stopped and listened, making sure, the preformers were still going strong. Taking a deep, somewhat shaky breath, she put her hand on the door knob going backstage, closed her eyes and eased it open.
Looking around and seeing no one, she quickly, and as silently as possible, gathered up some make-up, stuffed it in a make-up bag she had brought, and swiped a burgendy dress off of a dressing rack. She really hated stealing, but it had to be done.
Opening the door to the dressing room again, she prayed the act hadn't ended yet, and pushed it open, set on getting out as quickly as possible without being noticed.
