Snitch widened his eyes and blushed at what Milo said to Pockets about him always wondering where she is. Man Milo like to embarrass me...thought Snitch.
"Should we tell him, our big surprise?" Snitch whispered in Pockets' ear, and smirking.

" Wow, dat's great" said Milo excitedly "I nevah had a sistah befoah, my mama an' papa were tryin' ta have one befoah dey died, but den dey died so ...dey couldn't" he stated matter of factly, still smiling.
(For those of you who might wonder, No, Milo is not happy about his parents' deaths. He just doesn't fully understand death and he was only five when it happened so he doesn't remember them much and, thus, is generally unfazed by the topic of their deaths.)

Pockets looked into his eyes. He looked happy, but she didn't think he really was on the inside. "Don't worry Milo, I will be the best olda sister you eva have." She gave him a big hug.

Pockets bit her lip from trying to laugh out loud. "Uhm..you got some of it right. There is two people, but it is when they like eachother a lot, like how your parents were in love. The kiss,hug, and hold hands." She glanced at Snitch and winked.
"Do you get it now?"
"why?"
"Well, because if you didn't notice, me and Snitch are doin' those things. So we are a couple."

Angel had only about 20 papers left and it was still pretty early in the morning, maybe around 9:00am. So Angel was doing pretty good for a beginner. Right?
Angel went over to the curb and sat down and put her papes next to her with her hat on top of them. Angel tried to get her hair in a pony tail so that she could get cooler. But...her hair just wouldn't cooperate. Angel frowned at the ground.
Angel picked up her hat and placed it on her head, and picked up her papes and started yelling out good headlines.
"EXTRA!EXTRA!! Baby Born With Three Heads!" Shouted Angel to a passing couple, they bought a newspaper from her.

Angel turned around to hear a someones voice say something about her headline. "Oh..hi." said Angel looking the boy up and down, he had brown hair and brown eyes just like her younger sister Rainbow, except Rain is a girl and he is a boy.
"Yeah..It would be if it were true" answered Angel, mumbling the last part.

Angel smiled happily at the man, Angel took one of her newspapers that she had left and handed it out to him. "Thank ya mista" said Angel, taking the penny and putting it in her pocket.

Whisper had been playing with some of the younger newsies whe she realized that it was getting late, so she headed toward the lodging house, the only problem was that she didn't know the way home! Whisper was completely lost, and her older brother had a search party for her, Storm was an over protective older brother to her.
Whisper looked around and saw nobody that she recognized, and none of her brothers, or her brothers friends. Whisper sat down on the curb and looked down at her feet, Whisper realized that she forgot to put on a pair of her boots that morning so her feet were even dirtier then... ever.

Having not been able to sleep, Magnet was walking around very late at night in Queens. He hadn't known he was in Queens until he saw one of his friends and asked what he was doing.
Magnet looked up from the ground and saw a little girl on the curb, staring at her feet. He had no clue if she was crying and lost, or was sleeping straight.
Walking up to her he sat down and said, "Hey, are ya lost?" very sweetly, hopefully not scaring or harming the girl in any way.
