Rick let his hand slide back behind him and he felt his fingers curl around some cigars. Then He slowly eased them into his pocket trying not to catch the attention of the sales clerk, the clerk seemed to be busy helping a lady With some sugar. Rick browsed around the general store some more. His eyes fell upon some shoes and boy did he need some new ones. He waited for the clerk the turn his back, Then Rick grabbed the shoes and started full speed for the door.

Daisy walked into the General Store, humming softly to herself as she looked over a few of the goods. She was trying to find something to bring to Davey on her next visit to Peem's. The darling boy was like a shining light and she wanted to get him something that would make him smile. So caught up in her thoughts, she didn't see the boy hurriedly moving in her direction until it was almost to late and she tried to sidestep him, hoping to avoid her collision but seeing it was rather inevitable.

Maggie sighed, looking at all the pretty things. She was going to steal something today, she was sure. She didn't have much else to do today, anyways. She hadn't seen Benji in a while--boy was busy, and she was sure he didn't wnat anything to do with her, and good riddance.

Maggie gasped, pouting at the other man for a moment before grinning. "Well, I was a bit bored, you knave. You understand th concept--its all your fault." She smirked. "You've been leaving me all alone."

He moved his hand from her wrist to her hand, "Sorry, cher. My maman is in town and she's kept me busy--" more like personal slave since his brother's were back in the Bayou with the old man. "I didn't want to leave you alone to cause trouble without me..."

Maggie snorted and squeezed his hand once before dropping it, doing her best to look stern. "Excuses, excuses, oh you are always filled with them Benji. And if you aren't around, I can have my own fun. You always make us get caught anyways."

He grinned and took her hand again, spinning her around for the entire store to see. "So? It's more fun if you barely make it away then if you get away scot free, mon ange. And, oui, I may be full of excuses but this was lagit, and since Maman is busy looking for some Nicholas bloke to do business with, I'm here with you-- and if I can stay away from Maman, she'll go bug Lanna..."

Maggie laughed and jumped on the other's back, wrapping her legs around his waist as she planted a kiss on his neck. "I guess I might forgive you this time if you promise to have fun with me tonight."

He grinned and wrapped his arms around her legs to hold her their, they were a pair and this girl was something else. He adored her. "Oui, I'm all yours tonight..." And every night? Pfft, he didn't even need to say it as she walked around the store with a broad grin.

He laughed and continued to pretty much dance around the general store. "Aye, aye!" he announced the words he'd learned from the lads at the docks. He'd found a place here in New York, it was better with Maggie. "I'll buy us drinks and kiss you mindless-- sounds like a fine night to me..."

Maggie laughed, holding onto him tightly. "Oh I missed you I did. But next time you ditch me, bring me back a gift!" She cared for Benji a lot, but wasn't something she needed to voice, she bet Benji knew, she did.
