The Queens newsies have a large bedroom with rows and rows of beds, not bunks. Though the beds are cramped in here, their comfortable. So find an empty one, and settle in.

Prince lead them up the stairs. "Naw, I been leadah since 1899... two years," she said translating. As she lead them up the stairs they passed a door on their left, but Prince by passed it without explanation, she'd explain later. "Up here is the girls room, the boys is just a bit further up. They share a washroom, but everything is kept pretty private." Avalanche had started a lot of this when girls started showing up, Prince included. "We'll get you set up first, then ya brother here." She stopped at the door to the girls' room. "What are ya names?" she asked.

“Uh, I’m Nike, and the eejit’s Styx.” Styx grinned when Nike ‘introduced’ him, and then slid down the wall into a sitting position.
“I’ll wait ‘ere while you two check out the bunk room.” Nike quirked an eyebrow at him, then grabbed the knapsack.
“Fine by me, but I need my stuff outta dis.” She stated. Styx pretended to be interested in the floor and made a shooing motion with his hands. Nike rolled her eyes then turned back to prince expectantly.

"Alright, c'mon in," Prince opened the door. This room was a bit cleaner than the boys', but she didn't need to tell Nike that. "This is where the girls all sleep," she said. "You can find a place anywhere ya like." On a table by the door there were some flowers. Prince let the girls decorate the room the way they liked. Some hung things above their beds, others even invested in rugs for the floor. In the end, the place was very cozy and comfy.

Nike followed Prince into the room and sucked in a quick breath of surprise. In the four years since she’d been separated from her parents she hadn’t slept one night in a place as cozy and homey-looking as this. “This is fantastic,” she said quietly. “Is dat bed okay?” Nike pointed at an empty-looking bed toward the far edge of the room. It looked perfect to her, because she liked sleeping near a wall. A preference she no doubt picked up from sleeping in alleyways.

(These aren't bunks, their beds, just to letcha know. ) Prince chuckled. "I dun care," she said, "it's your bed. Ya sleep where ya want, so long as it ain't someone else's." She said as she leaned against the wall. "Ya brother can come in here just about any time. Guys and girls are welcome ta go into each other's rooms. But required ta sleep separate. Ya wanna sleep together? Go sleep on the couch downstairs, and that goes for any guy and goil here. Not that I think you're gonna wanna sleep with ya brother but... well ya get it," she said with a smirk.

“Ha!” Nike snorted. “Yeah, dat ain’t gonna be a problem.” Still laughing, she walked over to her chosen bed and unpacked the things she’d need, the rest could stay in the knapsack and under Styx bed. Once she was done, Nike walked back over to Prince. “Call me a rubberneck if ya hafta, but why do ya have beds in this gaff ‘stead of bunks? I thought lodging houses like this had bunks…?”

"In 'hattan they do," she said as she headed back over to the door. "Boys and girls share a bunk room, not much for privacy. As for the Bronx there's two separate lodgin' houses completely. The girls have bunk beds, and the boys have hammocks, save on money. I suppose we could do that here but... for the moment we don't really need to. In Brooklyn they divide the biggest room they got, boys on one side, girls on the other. Those are all bunks, like 'hattan. Here... well we had two rooms, neither of them all that big, so we split it up, girls in one room, boys in the other. We just... took the bunks apart, put half of 'em in the other room, and just... never re-stacked 'em. Why bother? There was enough room and all so... b'sides, everyone's more comfortable. Shall we get ya brothah settled then?" she asked putting a hand on the door.
This whole time Prince kept up her personality and the way she acted, behaved, what she did and how she spoke. Al this time she was a boy, or that's what these two thought anyway.

“Oh! Well, I guess that makes sense. And yer right, I’m more comfortable knowing there isn’t a bed above me that could come crashing down at any minute,” Nike stated matter-of-factly. “Yeah, let’s go get the amadán settled.” She grinned then looked over at Prince, “Means idiot.” Nike explained before Prince could ask.

Prince chuckled and headed out the door. "Alright, let's get your brother settled in," she looked down at Styx. "C'mon kid," she said offering a hand to help him stand up. "Nike, you come along, I gotta talk to you guys, got just a couple rules to lay down, and then I think you'll be all set and... can relax until tomorrow, and if ya ain't sold b'fore I'll take ya out and we'll getcha stated," she said. With that she lead them towards the boys' bedroom where Styx could find a bed

Styx took the hand she offered him and hoisted himself up. “Oh, Jaysus. Here come da rules. What’d I tell ya Nik?”
“Ah, shut yer gob,” Nike half shouted, hitting him upside the head There won’t be too many and I’m sure ya ’ll be able ta handle ‘em, whatever they are.” Then she turned to Prince. “Sorry ‘bout that, lead the way fearless leader!”
“Heh heh! Leader, leader,” Styx laughed, almost sounding like he was talking to himself. Nike gave him a look that made it obvious she wondered about his mental health.
((moved on to the boy's room))

Buttons ran into the room her blond curls bouncing as she did and jumped on her bed with a childish giggle. She set her stuffed bear on her bed leaning him against her pillow and smiled at him. "We did good today huh Tubby?" She said and reached her hand under her bed to grab her bag. Shoving a hand in her coat pocket she extracted the change she had earned from selling and dropped them in a pocket of the bag. Looking up she set the bag on her bed and saw the older girl.
Buttons was still shy but not as bad as she had been, selling papers and living with the newsies had helped her come out of her shell. Gathering up her courage she slid off her bed and up to the girl sticking out a ink stained hand. "Hiya I'm Buttons," The 7 year old said with a smile showing off her missing tooth, "Whats your name?"

She said and sat up and smiled at the girl. "Hmmmmm Buttons, I like it." Raine said and stood up. "So Buttons, you've been a newsie long?"

Buttons smiled at her as she shook her hand, "I like yer name, it's pretty." She said as she tucked a blond curl behind her ear with her hand and then shook her head at Raine's question cause her hair to bounce out of place. "Nuh uh, only got here a few days ago." She said quietly, she had only been here a couple days but in that time the newsies had taught her not to be so shy, "But everyone's real nice. What about you?" She asked as she leaned against the window sill still to small to see over it.
