Marlon nodded and considered what Snyder was saying as he paced the space, "Spot Conlon, he gave one of my best detective's trouble for a long time." Clarence had been one of Marlon's favorite men. He was loyal, and as crooked as they come. He'd been a bit put out when he'd gone but he was sure that Clarence would be back soon.
"They look to him as some kind of-- Hero in Brooklyn, he should be on our list as well. There is also one they call The Artful Dodger in the Bronx, his real name is Samuel Winslow. He's been picked up from stealing before but got out on a technicality..."
No one had actually seen him take it.
"Then we have the one they call Prince in Queens.." he looked back at Snyder, he knew little of that one. "I will get more information about them and then we will take them down, grabbing a child one by one until they decide that it's time to spring them."
He was earning his Commissioner job by the moment.

When he realized he's said the name Spot Conlon, Snyder took out a pen and wrote down the names as he said them, the real names, and nick names of all the children. Except for Prince, in Queens, due to not knowing their real name. "any and all information is valuable. Especially favorites. If there's anyone they favor over the others, the sooner we put them away, the better, because it will only bring the leaders in faster." Sndyer sat his pen down and smiled at him. "You are quite the hunter aren't you?" he said chuckling slightly.
"Well I personally believe we should set out on this endeavor immediately. The morning edition is long since sold, but the afternoon is approaching. Whether they will be protesting or selling... take them away... for disturbance of the peace," he said with a shrug. "And if you should so happen to catch one of these leaders... notify me. We won't want them in an easily reached location," he reminded the Sargent. If they could remove the leaders, they could destroy the street rat news boys forever.

He inclined his head, "All of Brooklyn--- There are two I know of I've arrested them before. Charlotte Palmer and Miranda Savario. Pick them up quickly." He adjusted his hat and headed for the door.
"We will start with that and then we will crush this rabble forever, if they are not being productive members of society. Though I think the girls should be sent to work houses where they can be taught to be proper ladies instead of this--- disgraceful behavior..."

Snyder jotted down the names, and didn't ask for the nick names, for he assumed if the Sargent knew them he would have said them. He then attached the two girls to Brooklyn.
"Meanwhile," he said needing to get his word in edgewise, "the boys will be sent here, and disciplined until they can be productive members of society, if ever. Taught to be proper men, and at least contribute positively," instead of being the glorified Peter Pans that all of them seemed to be, or see themselves as. This could turn out to be the best for all of them.

He nodded his agreement before he turned back and held his hand across Snyder's desk. "Then you and I have an accord?" He wanted a deal sealed with a handshake. He was going to get the job of Police Commissioner easily. By the end of the next two weeks, and then nothing would stop them.

"A full agreement," he said nodding. "Best of luck to you Comm... I mean, Sargent," he said with a smile, pretending to catch himself. "If there is anything you need, anything I can do for you please inform me. And you can bet I'll be out there myself looking for answers, though my face is recognized by the newsies," he cautioned. "But to you I wish the best of luck."

He nodded his head as they shook on it, he knew that he was pretending it was snakes like him that made politics so entertaining. "And I you, Warden. Good day to you, I will keep in touch.."
